"A group of 10 ageing from 20 - 74. We all loved the house, lots of space and homely. The projector room was fantastic for movie nights and the games room went down a treat. The house was warm, plenty of hot water, the welvoming pack was an added bonus. We had no problems and would definately recommend as a big group. More kitchen utensils would have been better as the pans werent big enough and also we couldnt all sit in the lounges together as not enough settees.- we managed. Its a fabulous...

"This was our second visit to Newbie Bridge Hotel, staff very friendly and welcoming, plenty of choices for breakfasts, had a evening meal one night and it was the best steak pie we have had."

"Nice welcome from reception and help with bags. Room very comfortable and clean but a bit stuffy due to exceptionally warm weather and no AC in room which can’t be helped but had brought our own cooling fan in addition to the one provided by the hotel. No bar service outside so had to get own drinks from outside bar or in the Muddy Boot pub inside. Drinks prices are a bit on the steep side but a great choice of wines beers and cocktails. Staff mostly friendly but I wouldn’t say they were above and beyond in terms of the service. We ate in the brasserie both night and enjoyed what we had but highlight was the excellent breakfast. Location is fantastic being right on the banks of Lake Windermere and next to the ferry pier which takes you to Bowness although this ends around 6pm so there’s not much choice of alternative places to eat in the immediate area unless you want to drive out. Overall an enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend."

"Room & bathroom a good size & clean. Understand that property is in throws of renovation. Staff friendly & helpful. Good outside garden seating area. Central to town, off street parking available. Only thing which would have been useful was more power points in room for charging phones, hearing aids etc. This an observation not a criticism. We would stay again."

"Newly renovated apartments right in the centre of town. Great restaurants and pubs very close. Car park opposite the apartment but much cheaper option for a longer stay just 50 metres away. Overall a great place to stay if visiting this part of Cumbria. Would recommend Farmers and the Mill for food and drinks"
