The location is remote so it would be nice if there was more to experience on property. But it is on the sea and maybe that's enough for a lot of people. "Chose Villa Istriana B&B in Umag as a base to explore Istria. This is a charming hotel within easy reach of the Adriatic coastline. Our host Daniela was friendly, professional and informative. Our room was clean, roomy and comfortable. The bathroom and shower spotless with plenty of hot water. Parking just outside our room; private terrace with table & chairs a plus. "My husband and I absolutely loved this gorgeous apartment. So clean and spacious, and it had everything we needed. The terrace and the view are so beautiful. "It was a nice hotel with a lovely pool and excellent swimming spots around the sea. We did have some discomfort as the aircon in the room wasn't cooling and the room was quite dated, but overall our goal was to relax and we certainly were able to. There were nice restaurants within walking distance (the buffet was a bit average so we only had dinner at the hotel once) and it was easy to get in and out with parking. The staff were helpful and the spaces nice and clean. "
