We were traveling for family emergency, so we weren't interested in what it had to offer regarding amenities. We did need a place that offered pets, bc we had our dog. We have no complaints about the bed, it was clean and comfortable But the floor was tiled, which is fine... but it was dirty, I dont think they use a good floor cleaner on it, unfortunately I forgot my slippers, and the bottom of my feet were black in the first hour I was there and the floor felt like it has a film or residue, stickiness to it. The windows were dirty. And it had a strong smell of mothballs. My husband and I dont mind a dated room, but we are picky about cleanliness, and i cannot give our room high ratings for cleanliness. I hope that the owner plans on doing updates and and improvements on cleaning and cleaning products. It could be a nice place for guests to stay. It would be ashame to let it go.

We enjoyed a very comfortable two nights; it was quiet, but the motel was far from full. The room was spacious with plenty of surfaces to spread out, and it had plenty of lighting. There were some cleanliness issues, but only with the insides of the fridge and microwave; the bathroom and sheets were clean. It was an economical hotel, and we are very satisfied that we got our money's worth. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

This place, although the pictures look nice is not what it was… it needs to be updated a lot. There are no amenities. Just the bar basics and you can get other places to go for around the same price with a lot more cleanliness and amenities included. We opted for a bed-and-breakfast instead up the street called the Eagles rest it was excellent.

The view of the lake is beautiful. It's right across the road. The manager and staff were very kind and set me up in the kind of room I requested. It had a microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot with the coffee. The bed was very comfortable and the air worked great. I would stay there again.
