「Dawson Inn was cozy and a really nice place to stay. The manager was very nice and pleasant to talk to. The Breakfast wasn't the usual "Holiday Inn" type breakfast but it was all we needed. The room was clean and comfortable. The only issue was the directions given by Google Maps. It took us off on the wrong exit and into the backwoods country on a tiny narrow road and our destination was a wooded lot. I'm glad we weren't traveling at night - we might not have seen some of the hairpin...

「The hotel lodge was n beautiful. Lodge room was old and outdated. Restaurant food was not great but you are held hostage up on the mountain. Food at the salt pond was dreadful. It was a fun experience but a one and done. Staff is friendly but communication is not good. After 2 nights finally realized maid service was only on request. Never communicated. It was a memorable trip because of Dirty Dancing but will probably not return.」

「The absolute best hotel i have ever stayed at. who would’ve thought out of OH, MD, and virginia beach, this hotel is the best. Like i was truly sad to leave. It was just a half way point from VA beach to home OH. We had the best time. 「There were dogs in hotel and barking. Rooms were worn (marble sink was cracked and awkwardly caulked - not to classy. There were dents and furniture chips. Very worn . Requested towels but never received since on maid visit they took towels. Asked front desk but no one ever came - poor service. Smelled musky」

「The room had an odd smell but was clean. The shower had no soap for the shower. We had to use the soap meant to wash hands. Shampoo and conditioner was provided. The bed was super hard causing me to wake up multiple times. The walls were so thin, I thought the person beside us heard our conversation.The breakfast was nasty. The worse sausage gravy ever. The apple juice had mold in it my wife said. The nice staff did apologize for the apple juice and offered a discount. I was just ready to leave....

「The unit was nicely appointed, clean, pet friendly (at a reasonable rate), in the downtown area, where restaurants, specialty shops, and historic features were all within walking distance. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and the amenities were sufficient for our needs. We will definitely book a stay here again.」

「This Holiday Inn is one of the most economical Holiday Inn’s and it is also the nicest Holiday Inn Express I have stayed in. Service is always good and the property is clean. The gentleman working the breakfast was very attentive to guests and made sure the food was always brought out when something got low.」

「Parking was a challenge. We were blocked in by the Bistro patrons next door; however, the public parking is very close and only had to use it one night. The rest of the time we were able to park in the parking lot of the hotel.」

「Beautiful suite that consisted of a living area with beautiful coffee bar, small frig and microwave. The decor and furnishings were so beautiful.
