Naples University of Naples Federico II Hotels

"Hotel is in a great location on the sea front. We had great stay, it was our friends birthday whilst we were there and they really helped to make her day special. Great staff and nice rooms. We were very lucky they kindly upgraded our rooms. It is not clear on Expedia that the standard rooms are actually internal rooms, which would have been very disappointing. So I think that should be made clearer, obviously not the hotels fault. Would definitely stay here again if I return to Naples."

"We were offered an upgrade for only 25 euros for an early check in and a beautiful one bedroom suite. Amenities are second to none. Staff very helpful."

"We booked a superior room with a king sized bed and a city view in the main building. We were allocated a room in an annex building on the 5th floor with no view (other than a wall with an air conditioning unit on) with a small double bed and the bathroom was nothing like the one in the room we booked and it had a terrible smell to it. There were marks on the flooring and one of the bedside cabinets was falling to bits. There was no tea and coffee making facilities as stated. The check in was in a separate location which I understood from the booking. We could only pay cash for the tax so I had to walk to a cash machine. We paid a deposit charge too which I expected but I have had no indication of when this will be refunded. The room we were allocated appears to be a student room which was contained with 4 other rooms behind a shared entrance. Altogether I was not impressed, especially as we were not allocated the room we actually booked."

"Location was great close to famous restaurant Mimi Alla Ferrovia 10min walk. Only set back at hotel was an over powering fragrance smell. Front desk very helpful and accommodating let us checkout and hour later. Great breakfast"

"We had a lovely stay at Albergo Palazzo Decumani! Check in was easy and our room was ready for us. The room was large, clean, with a large bathroom, too. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Elevator worked really well. The location of the hotel is very close to Via Spaccinapoli, which has all the cafes, shopping, etc. The breakfast, which is included, is wonderful with a buffet of eggs, quiche, beautiful pastries, expresso, etc. We were impressed!"

"A little tricky to get into at first but once you find the hotel and get in, it makes sense. The staff are very attentive and text you on the hotel.com app to help you figure entry."

"This is an elegant, old-world hotel and is beautifully maintained. The staff were very gracious and helpful. The room was large with high ceilings, an elegant bathroom and a small balcony opening out to the bay. There was a hot water kettle with packs of coffee and a mini-fridge. The rooftop bar/restaurant was a lovely spot for a drink at sunset. The waterfront area directly in front of the hotel is great for walking, and is being refinished very attractively with gray paving stones. It is a 10-12 minute walk along the waterfront to Molo Beverello port for ferries to Capri, Amalfi, etc."
