The Perfect Romantic GETAWAY,
The Beach Cabin is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Time to slow down and breathe in the fresh northern air. Just 3 hours north of Toronto in Restoule ON.

Your Beach Cabin is nestled in trees with a large green space , croquet anyone? The very large sandy beach is directly in front of your cabin. The first part of the beach is reserved just for you an iron patio set, umbrella and Muskoka chairs. Pull your chair into the shallow shore for a refreshing day of basking in the sun or swim out to the deep. Because the water gets deep gradually it is perfect for frisbee or floating. It’s a perfect day at the beach.

Unplug and unwind...

The Lakeview Beach Cabin has a boho decor vibe. This is a 1 bedroom cabin plus a Den/Office space is a separate room. The bedroom has a double bed. Bring your fav pillow and bedding. Max two people only, no exceptions.
There is a lot of greenery between each unit and tons of beach space and each unit is spaced out for privacy.

EAT ALFRESCO
Nothing tastes better than cooking and dining outdoors in the fresh air. So many culinary options….
The twinkle string lights on the deck gazebo make for a great evening dining on your patio.
Enjoy a wood fire cookout on the beach at hooded fire pit. Or perhaps a more intimate campfire at your cabin for s’mores. There is a BBQ for the grill lovers and of course a traditional stove oven in your cabin. And if you don’t want to cook at all they have great food at Bucks Grill & Lodge or Bud the Spud, just down the road. It’s good to pack your groceries from home, but if you do forget anything there is fresh meats and veggies at Mill Bay Market. Ohhh and visit Brain Freeze Bunkie for some sweet ice cream treats. Gerrys General Store has gas and all other conveniences.

TO DO...
Hike the famous Fire Tower trail at Restoule Provincial Park. The views are breathtaking of the lake and the lush forest scapes.
Visit the local Artisan shops, Love My Sarong, Boards Honey and Stone Throw Pottery. Boat tours at the ChiChiman North Bay or Port Shores Port Loring is a great idea too!
Port Shores also have a unique lakefront restaurant and gift shop.

The cottage is nicely equipped and especially clean. The grounds are notably well cared for. The hosts are very hospitable and helpful. The location is fairly remote so guests should bring ample food supplies since local stores are very limited, but there is a large refrigerator. A good visit for us !!

Relaxation retreat!!

Our stay was enjoyable, this location was very peaceful. It was definitely a nice little get away. We were able to fish off the dock, and the communication, and response time with the owners if we had any questions was outstandingly pleasing, and prompt! The cottage was very clean, as well as the property. We were even able to fish off the dock! The cottage was very close to the beach area/lake which made it very convenient if you forgot to bring something to the lake or wanted a snack :) I would recommend this location for anyone looking to escape city life and who is looking for a relaxing time!

Perfect cottage

My hubby and I stayed here with our 2 daughters for a weekend and it was our ideal cottage! The cottage had everything we needed and it was cozy. The property was great as well, the kids had lots of room to run around and the water was shallow so we didn't have to worry. We're already planning to come again next summer :)

A hidden gem in the north

We stayed at this cabin for 2 nights and they were the best nights we have ever stayed at any vacation place. The view is spectacular from the cabin. The cabin comes with a beautiful private beach and an absolute privacy. The property is huge and very well maintained. The campfire was really fun and happening. Brenda is a really nice host and provided us with every basic need within the cabin. I would strongly recommend this place for a summer gateway in the North.

Satisfied once again

We spent a lovely 2 weeks at Sunlit Bay. The weather did not co-operate but it is that time of year. We still enjoyed the outdoors and relaxed in our cosy cottage by the lake. We love it here and hope to come again next year.

Great Northern Getaway

We definitely enjoyed our Northern getaway! So beautiful and relaxing, perfect weather for the beach! And so close to the Restoule Provincial Park, we were able to take in the scenery while hiking the trails and kayaking too!

Nice quiet getaway.

Overall our family had a nice week away. The property was nice and quiet, and the owner was great! The highlight for us, was having access to a nice clean beach area for our daughter to be able to play in the shallow water. Would recommend to anyone and would gladly book again.

Hidden gem

We loved Brendas hidden Gem. 4 nights with perfect weather, sand and warm water was just what we needed. This is a true NORTHERN ONTARIO COTTAGE. If you love to fish, we recommend a boat, as it is very very shallow for a good 200 feet. The water is beautiful, calm and warm. Our only issue was the deer flies. Unfortunately we did not enjoy evenings by the fire because of overwhelming deer flies and mosquitoes. Even 15% deet spray didn’t seem to faze them. But we fished, swam and enjoyed afternoon naps. We will definitely come back. Thank you Brenda for being such a wonderful host.

Mice problem

We had to cut short our stay as we noticed a mouse in the second bedroom. seems like it lives under the bed ( not sure one or more) It was very disapointing what the owner had to say after informing the issue. These are her own words "Mice have always been part of Northern Ontario. This is something out of our control"

The view from the porch is just breath taking and so relaxing during our morning coffee!

We truly enjoyed our time in Restoule. The weather wasn't the greatest but that couldn't have been helped so we made the best of it. The beach is beautiful and the grandkids enjoyed swimming and paddelboarding the day away. The lake itself is just beautiful and we enjoyed seeing a family of loons too. Would highly recommend this location to anyone. We are hoping to go back when the weather is hotter so we can truly enjoy the lake

Lake Restoule Sunlit Bay

The cottage was very inviting and the beach was amazing. We loved it even though it rained. The area is picturesque. We had a great time relaxing and enjoying the water.

Very good place for young children to be introduced to canoeing. bring your own. Lots of lawn and a shallow beach to play on. The owners are very nice. The beds could be more comfortable but hard to please everyone .

Perfect Family Getaway

If you are looking for quite retreat, a charming cabin that comes with all the essentials you need, your own private sandy beach, freindly and accomodating host, then this place is for you! We (my mom, dad and I) spent a few days at Brad and Brenda's cabin and couldn't have been more happy with our stay. We will be back!

We really loved the lake and view as well as sourroundings. Place is quiet and beautifull. Beach is perfect for kids they could play and swim in shallow water all day. However we couldn't enjoy enough of our time on the beach as well as plaing on the grass area during the day because of tons of mosquitoes, black flies, dragon flies big as drones and other flying and biting insects ( even having OFF spray with deet, citronellas and long firecamp candles), even smoke from fireplace wasn't able to keep them away . They were agressive even if we have been staying in the water. I have no idea if it was the wrong time we came ( beginning of July) or just very hot and dry weather (it was raining only once during the whole week). So I would suggest to enjoy some time under the gazebo in July early in the morning around 7am -9am or after 6pm. Swimming time best around 10 am and 7pm. Playing on the grass only after 7pm. Sitting on the beach: immposibble for us during our stay because of "flying objects".

Nice and relaxing

The cabin is kind of old, but suitable. It was a nice place to relax, I didn't have much problem with bugs and there is a good view from the cabin. The beach was quiet, and a relaxing place to sit. I enjoyed my stay.
