"Pros: We had a wonderful time in Oberammergau, enjoying walking locally in the December snow. Tried out local cafes for all the fabulous cakes and hot chocolate. Lidl is in walking distance for all the supplies you might need if you want to cook. The kitchen is very well stocked with all the utensils you might need. Beds are comfy and the hot water plentiful and hot. WiFi good. The host was delightful. Met us on arrival and showed us around. Very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend this...

"We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was as described. The hosts were helpful and easy to contact. It is a beautiful area and the location of the accommodation is ideal. Parking and laundry were a bonus for us. There is a terrific local restaurant within walking distance. We recommend Gastehous Mack to anyone travelling to this area......Oh and the the town of Ettal is worth a short drive for wonderful beer and liquor thanks to the Monastery."

"The apartment has everything you need for a short stay. Loved the balcony which has great views, and it's right at the foot of a mountain with trails to a waterfall. It's about 10 minutes' walk from centre of town where you can get buses and trains to nearby towns - free transport with visitor card supplied by host. There is also an excellent Italian restaurant in the same building! Would recommend."
