“The blonde receptionist at the front desk assumed we didn’t understand English. We had three rooms booked, and I was simply holding the hand of a toddler under two years old while standing at the reception desk. She immediately started talking about extra guest charges and even suggested that a child under two years old should be charged. Are you seriously that desperate for money? The child wasn’t even staying in my room. The fact that your first reaction was to look for ways to charge more is……

“It's a lovely clean and bright studio in the heart of Bayreuth, a 15 minute walk from the train station and less than a minute from the colourful and lively Maximilianstraße. If you're prepared to self-cater (and the local supermarkets are excellent), then it's a bargain. What stops it from my giving 5 stars? Not much. The apartment can get very hot, although a fan is provided. A separate receptacle for recycling would be welcome, as would a dustpan and brush for daily cleaning and instructions……

“Room was modern but the bathroom was clogged and the water wasn’t drained. We almost can’t take shower that night. Front desk was closed between 11pm to 1pm so no help provided during this period. ”

“Ein wirklich tolles Hotel! Super freundliches Personal, ein wunderbares Frühstück mit sehr viel Auswahl und sogar die Möglichkeit, Eierspeisen frisch zu bestellen. Die Therme ist über einen direkten Weg vom Hotel aus erreichbar, was sehr praktisch ist. Im Zimmer gibt es eine Badetasche mit Bademantel und Handtüchern, die täglich gewechselt werden können. Das Zimmer war sauber, schön und komfortabel. Auch der Service war top und die kostenlosen Parkplätze sind ein großes Plus. Wir waren rundum……

“Älteres Haus, Zimmer nur über eine Treppe erreichbar. Ausstattung eher einfach, aber das macht die Lage direkt am Marktplatz wieder wett. Kleine Defizite bei der Sauberkeit. Kein Personal vor Ort, Check-in hat nach einem Anruf dennoch problemlos funktioniert.”

“We got a very large, modern and newly renovated room outside of the actual hotel. It was very nice and was nicely designed, but was not quite what we had in mind when we booked a room in a building from 1323... The automated check in worked flawlessly, and we had a good communication with the owner via sms before checking in.”

“Sehr sauber und modern. Das Hotel liegt in der Stadtmitte, so dass Touristenziele und Restaurants sehr einfach zu erreichen sind. Am Abend kann man sich in Ruhe gut ausruhen. Sehr gerne würde ich dort nochmal übernachten.”
