"Nice little one night stopover visiting Bude. Ample parking and easy to find. Straight road into Bude. A little isolated so make sure you buy supplies from Bude on the way back. A few spiderwebs and bugs in the room when we arrived but only because the window was left open thankfully because it was such a hot day. Paula the host was very helpful and friendly start to finish. Will stay again if we visit Bude again."

"Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning."

Kingfisher is Laid back luxury in 9-acres of countryside right near the beach

"This is such a special place. We enjoyed ten idyllic days here with our two dogs and my father who has very reduced mobility. It couldn’t have been a more perfect place. Elliot welcomed us on the first day and we had a lovely chat with him. The grounds are terrific for dogs, who are particularly welcome; this really helped us to relax because our dogs are both running dogs and do agility, and having freedom with them was important for us. The grounds are also beautiful for people to explore, with woodland, a stream, a meadow and fishing ponds to explore. They’re being managed in an intelligent, ecologically sensible way and it shows. Kingfisher Lodge is at the far end of the driveway and feels like a little sequestered haven. Having the enclosed garden was perfect for us, and the shaded patio was a welcome relief during the heatwave. Everything about the lodge interior is quality, from the beds to the kettle to the toilet paper (the brand Who Gives a C**p: South Forda are serious about sustainability). Elliot also went out of his way to help us with a couple of things while we were there. We can’t wait to return here!"

"Very lovely and peaceful holiday home. We enjoyed it very much. Very homy atmosphere with all the bits and bobs we will ever need during holiday stay. It was like walking into family home.Short walk there are 2 pubs and 2 shops and The Stowe venue. Beaches are near by in short distance to drive. What else you need. Parking on street, but plentiful space. Hope we will come back there in the future. Definitely 5* stay for us!"

"The Pengelly Lodge at South Forda Park in Kilkhampton is an amazing little haven set in beautiful Cornish countryside. We stayed for four nights and were very sad to leave. It had everything you could wish for, so much so I hardly had to use anything that I packed (and I pack everything for self catering stays). The overall quality of everything provided was very high standard, not your usual lower/cheaper standards you usually get in holiday accommodation. It is a home away from home. The land available right in front of the property was fantastic for our black lab, he adored running around freely, we didn’t even get to see all of it. The host, Elliott, is amazing and nothing is too much trouble. Very friendly and attentive, nothing is too much trouble. I highly recommend this little retreat is you like, quality, luxury, peace and serenity!!! We will be booking to go back next year "

"The holiday was very good and the accommodation was overall good but slightly cold at night being the time of year. It was very quiet because we were the only ones on the site and it's a big site but that suited us. We always love Bude and it was easy to get there and sometime we will be back all being well."

"nothing for kids to do on site, and only a small bar with snooker and darts for older ones we never had any children with us so not a problem for us we were disappointed, as eating places we used to go to ewere now shut. and it poured with rain the whole 3 weeks we were there but was not owners fault :) bungalow was very good and had all we needed in it, loved the Dyson Fan/heater and bed and linen was very clean 10/10 not coming there next year going to try some where else, but if we were we would stay here again.found Micheal very friendly and helpful Thank you "
