“Always a great place to stay st in East Texas”

“Felicia, the host went above and beyond to assure we had everything we needed and more. This is a wonderful and well-appointed retreat in the country. We enjoyed ambling around the property, communing with the chickens, and letting all our cares fade to the background. We took a quick trip into Winnsboro, which was a very sweet little town with unique shops. In between Winnsboro proper and the property is a great place to buy farm fresh and homemade items called 2Mac’s Ranch Farm Stand. The……

“So clean, private, loved the fire pit. Free laundry facility is huge plus. The only downside was the couch. Not so comfy. Hosts were very responsive with any of our needs. We would definitely stay here again!”

“The house was spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook all week. The backyard was great for our dog - well fenced and very large. I appreciated the extra blankets and towels to help keep the furniture covered (we’ve stayed at other places that claimed to be pet friendly but as soon as you booked they sent extra rules about keeping pets off the sofas, so this home is actually pet friendly). ”

“Winnsboro Lake Retreat was very relaxing. The interior of the house was spotless. Every we needed and more was at our disposal. Beds were comfortable and the view out at the lake was great. We were a little disappointed that the dock was not usable. We were not informed before our stay about this condition and we should have been. We did not swim as the area looked unsafe to be in the water. Overall our stay was very nice.”

“This property was cute and the owner made sure everything was clean, well stocked and inviting! It is a 2 min walk to downtown with cute shops and restaurants. I am looking forward to coming back. ”
