An incredible, lovely and unique experience. A must visit for anyone looking to live the “cave life” while visiting Cappadocia. A clean, comfortable, and well decorated place. Unlike other hotels these rooms are true to the originals caves ancient peoples lived in but with all the modern amenities (and very comfortable beds)! A truly remarkable experience I will recommend to anyone visiting the region.

Our hosts were absolutely wonderful! We stayed at Gibos for four nights and the home-cooked Turkish breakfast was superb every day. We were offered excellent recommendations on hikes, dinner options (Sinasos Wine House), and they made our hot air balloon ride reservations for us with a great company (we normally don’t do those kind of activities, but it was incredible!). We felt like family friends by the time we left. Do not hesitate to stay here if you would like an authentic cave hotel experience. Such a unique hotel!

Kapadokya Kültür Yolu kapsamında çıktığımız bu yolculukta, bir gece Mustafapaşa’da yer alan Gibos Otel’de konakladık. Bizim için son derece keyifli ve huzurlu bir deneyim oldu. Otelin doğal yapısının özenle korunmuş olması, yatakların rahatlığı ve ortamın dinlendiriciliği bize gerçekten iyi geldi. Sabah kahvaltısında sunulan lezzetli ve taze ürünler ise güne harika bir başlangıç yapmamızı sağladı. Güler yüzlü ve samimi misafirperverlikleri için Gibos ailesine gönülden teşekkür ederiz. Böyle özel bir mekânı bu kadar özenle işletiyor olmaları takdire şayan.

Amazing hospitality

Warm and hospitable hosts make you feel like you are at home. Amazing rock cave rooms with traditional decor and authentic architectural features. Quiet and relaxing environment that allows you to connect with the historical past of this town. Unlike the over touristy nearby towns of the region, Mustapasha is a true gem worth discovering.

Three days in fairy land.

The place is truly amazing, like from a fairy tale; Has secret passages, tunnels, nooks, is decorated with taste and love. The owners are passionate about the history of Cappadocia and Mustafapasa and are eager to share their ppassion. They are kind and speak sufficient English to communicate ( which is rare in Turkey). Breakfast is on a light side so we always asked for extra bread and brought some fruits with us and we were fine. The only complain is that when we asked the owners for a good place for dinner we were taken to a super expensive roof top hotel restaurant where we were the only guests... Also the wine in the hotel is very expensive. All in all I recommend this place. It's like staying in a museum or being transfered to a fairly tale. During our stay we peeked in some other cave hotels but none offered even remotely similar experience.

Absolutely you should visit

Clean, calm and nice hotel. Rooms are traditional and historical. The owner Mr Adin was very nice and polite to us. Breakfast was also really good. It's not just a hotel, it's like a museum. Gibos Cave’i tercih etmek tatilimizi unutulmaz kılan en doğru karar oldu. Otelin özel tasarımı ve her bir köşesinin emek verilerek tek tek yapılmış olması harika, olabildiğince orijinalliği korunmuş ve huzur verici bir doğası var. Gece terastan yıldızları izlemek gerçekten paha biçilemezdi. Odamız gerçek mağara odaydı, ağustos ayında yorgana sarılıp deliksiz uyku keyfi deneyimlemek harikaydı. Tertemiz, konforlu ve kahvaltısı da fazlasıyla yeterliydi. Otel sahipleri inanılmaz sıcakkanlı, misafirperver, özenli ve işini seven insanlar, o yüzden biz kendi evimizde gibi hissettik. Ve eğer fırsatınız olursa oteldeki labirentleri mini yer altı odalarını hikayelerini dinleyerek gezmelisiniz. Her şey için çok teşekkür ederiz, en kısa zamanda tekrar görüşmek dileğiyle.
