"This property is listed as 2 bedroom apartment , booked it for family of 4 for 3 night stay… upon arrival found it was rented to other individuals…. Individual Living in the living room/ balcony with personal belongings and bedding in living room, one bedroom locked rented to others and had access to one bedroom only with 2 twin beds and a folding single bed, total 3 can sleep in room…. Did not feel safe in that situation and left the property…. Booked another stay last minute as advised by Vrbo...

Es gibt einen Balkon direkt zum See zeigend, welcher vollständig abgeschlossen werden kann. Der Wohnblock liegt nah an der Straße, es wird dementsprechend etwas lauter, wenn die Fenster offen sind. "We had a wonderful time during our stay in Isenthal. Renate was very helpful and went out of her way to make sure everything went well for us. The area is so beautiful that you don't have to go far. There are hikes everywhere and always a picturesque view. Not many people from America have visited and there is some cultural shock and language problems to overcome but, it is well worth the effort. The little store is well stocked but not open on Sunday or some days after 11:30AM so you should...

"Die Kommunikation im Voraus mit den Eigentümern der Hütte war total unkompliziert. Die Anreise im Dunkeln im Nebel & Schnee vom Ort zur Hütte hoch war ein kleines Abenteuer, aber gut machbar. Die Hütte ist perfekt ausgestattet. Wir haben nichts vermisst. In der Küche sind Spüli, Geschirrhandtücher, Spülmaschinen-Tabs, Gewürze etc. vorhanden. Wir hatten aber alles selbst dabei. "Nice old-style bed and restaurant hotel with a lovely staff that was very detail oriented during check-in. Felt very at home in the pub area and during meals. Bedding was quite comfortable and peaceful. You will hear guests walking about the stairs and over your room with the older wooden build, but it was part of the charm in a way. Dinner was very good and the morning breakfast spread is typical European flair and filled us up for the day. Views of the mountainside were wonderful, TV selections vary in many different languages if you get stuck inside for a bit. Small grocery store across the street and the Post Bus heading to Stans or Seelisberg picks up right in front of the hotel. Very convenient for hikers or if you want to take one of the few cable cars up the mountains."

"Chosen as a reasonably priced hotel for a one night stop between france and Italy. Family run and open since the 1920s. An older style property but style very much in keeping with the local area. Clean and tidy throughout and bar/restaurant appears popular with locals. Staff were friendly and accomodating. The hotel restaurant is closed on a Wednesday evening however there are a number of local restaurants nearby and staff were happy to provide directions and recommendations. Breakfast was traditional and plenty of options for even my fussy teenager. Would happily stay here again."
