Urunga beach house

Good location and basic but comfortable accommodation. Disappointed that there is no BBQ. Not sure how you can have an Aussie summer holiday without a barbie? Management was not at all sympathetic when t are 2 BBQs locked in the garage at the property. This needs to change.

Great location

Cute little house. Very close to everything and convenient. Very clean. No heating or cooling.This one is owned by a commercial chain and it was the easter weekend so contact was for emergencies only according to the email comms. The lawn had just been mown without a catcher leaving big chunks of grass everywhere, and despite our best efforts we couldn't help but constantly bring grass inside and there was no dustpan to clean it up, only a broom to sweep it into the corners. It also made the backyard pretty much unuseable. There was no dishcloth and one toilet roll. I'm all for buying extra stuff but found this a little cheap, especiallyfor the price charged.You'll also get charged 100 per dog you bring, which surprised me and wasn't something i have encountered before. Overall clean and comfortable, very convenient location.

Disappointing

On arriving the house had no been cleaned so we had to wait 2 hours (4pm) for the cleaner to come and clean the house. Not a great start. The house is very old and appliances like to stove (no hot plates worked properly- only 1 setting which was high - so very dangerous especially with children, and the microwave). The bathroom is very small to cater for a large family or group of friends. The area and location is stunning and this made our stay worthwhile. I would not book this accommodation again. I expected more for 500 per night. Jane

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The entire house is unlevel so my son who has just learnt to walk was continuesly falling down, there was a number of leaks throughout the house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was well equipped for our large family, clean and spacious. The ongoing flooding, coupled with the location of the house, meant that the area surrounding the house was swampy and thus invited many mosquito's. The age and style of the house meant that there were areas that the insects could get inside. The house was also quite damp because of the rain, we struggled to get clothes dry and even the clothes we hadn't washed, and bed linen etc felt damp. This is in no fault of the property, just the nature of an older style home with the ongoing inclement weather.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was great nice and cosy , close to shops and a beautiful board walk , everything super clean , the bleach smell got me it was great couldn’t ask for a cleaner experience , only down fall is the place has no air con it was 33 degrees and it was very hot inside , other then that 11/10 good for bang for buck affordable for location bowling club and pub in walking distance both less then a km away , highly recommended good fenced yard for pet , I’ll definitely be back to stay :)
