"We loved the location, inside the walls; we enjoyed walking along the castle walls and wandering the twisty, old, cobblestone streets. We found excellent cafes and restaurants within Óbidos and did a day trip by bus to Nazaré. However, the 1 bathroom was tiny- it was challenging to even turn around. The bathroom sink did not have a stopper and I didn’t feel comfortable putting in and cleaning my contact lenses over that little sink. "It was a lovely, clean house with everything one could need. The owner was always quick to respond to any questions I had. Outside of the city, so you will definitely need a car. But Caldas da Rainha and Óbidos are a conveniently nearby. It also has a spacious, well fenced yard that kept my escape artist dog safe. I highly recommend it."
