House was pretty, secluded, spacious. Bathroom setup was strange, like it wasn't thought out at all. Dim lighting in kitchen, many light switches didn't seem to work. Would've been a great place to stay except for the cockroach infestation in the kitchen. At first, i thought there were only a few, but i sprayed the cabinets down with the can of roach spray i found and when i came back there were dead roaches all over the floor. No way i was sleeping in that house at that point. Owner wanted to 'try' to get pest control to come in a few days which is unacceptable. They had to have known a nest that large was living in there.
After i swept up the dead roaches. More than i was willing to sleep with.

Maria is a great host.

Maria was kind and very helpful. She also speaks Spanish perfectly which helped with communication. We contact her when we go back and hopefully get to stay again

Non existing drive way has hughe pot holes, place covered in mud,covered in roaches,barely any running water,holes in towels,no hot water,only 1shower barely worked,everything in kitchen is covered in grease or roaches ,dirt. family photos everywhere, light in kitchen didnt work,internet terrible.overall the worst stay ive ever had even worse than a 1star motel.

The property was very spacious inside and out. We appreciated the fact that the owner was very friendly and allowed our pets. The owner was very prompt in answering questions and very helpful. The only unexpected drawback was the distance to a grocery store or restaurants. There was however, a gas station a little over a mile up the road that had some groceries and limited food options.
