"The listing description is mostly accurate but it left out two very important items when staying in Avignon in the July heat. First- there is no air conditioning. It was 100 degrees during our stay and the bedrooms are in the attic and the apartment is on the second floor. It was so incredibly hot in the evening, it was difficult to sleep. "Everything with the unit was good except parking is a very big challenge. You cannot get within 3-4 blocks of the unit with a car because it is in a restricted area. The stairwell to get to the unit is very dark, narrow and winding. It was very difficult to manage luggage. The host needs to provide more detail about these things before arrival."

"We were warmly welcomed by our host to his unique property, which was even better than the photos. He was very kindly flexible with both our check-in and check-out times. The apartment is very spacious, in a great location, with a very special view, and uniquely decorated. Of course to get a great view you have to be prepared to climb the stairs. The only minor issue is the water pressure in the shower."
