Nice house, nice holiday, some discussions
It is a nice house with a spacious living area and proper window blinds. The house stays quite cool even while having 38 degrees outside. Bathrooms are ok, there are two in the upper floor and a very small one on the ground floor.
Outside there is a big terrace facing the garden and the pool. There is also a poolhouse.
Even though the pool would need some renovation, it is quite big and has an alarm, which is comfortable when traveling with kids. If there were any problems, the kind neighbour was quick to help.
A big plus is the walking distance to Uzés. A charming town with lovely restaurants and a wonderful market on Saturdays.
Christine and Didier are kind and helpful hosts. Unfortunately we had some discussions over too many details at the end. The house is decorated with lots of private items and antiques. It is recommendable to remove some items for security reasons (especially when traveling with smaller kids) and put them back on its exact place before leaving. This is also the case for the kitchen, which tends to be quite compact when cooking for 9 persons. The sunbeds did not have cushions and there were no bath towels, but we had to deal with the complaint about alleged stains from sunmilk.
However, we enjoyed our holidays in this beautiful region!
