"The staff did a wonderful job and was knowledgeable with the questions we asked. Greg was on hand most of the time we were there and had our car to us withing 2-3 minutes. He offered us a lot of suggestions and ideas to do around the area. He was defiantly a very nice person to talk with. Our room was not ready when we tried checking in at 3p and again 330. Unfortunately, our room was not ready until a bit after 430P when told it would be no later than 4p. Our room was clean and cleaning staff did an excellent job. The only thing that we did not enjoy with our room was the mattress and pillows. Both were very old and lumps in the bed and pillows. This was not comfortable. The Mountain View was more of the park area in back for the dogs with trees. It was very nice though. Breakfast was good and a good value. The only thing I did not like about breakfast was that they were out of the scrambled eggs. I had asked for them to bring out more but told it would be a while before they were ready. By that time, they were done serving. All in all, I would defiantly stay here again. This property is very nice and a very short walk to Vail Village. Restaurants and shopping were all in this area. "Enjoyed the stay very much road noise made room patio not very useable but not much you can do about that parking was difficult 45 dollars and not assured a spot seems kind of excessive"

Manor Vail Lodge

"Great location, beautiful place with gorgeous xeriscaped native landscaping, views of the mountains right outside your door, and the free breakfast buffet with made to order omelet bar was a bonus. We drove up from Denver after work to try to catch a free concert but arrived and checked in just as it ended, so we were kind of bummed about that, but the place was great. There seemed to be a tour group with many elderly people visiting while we were there, which my travel partner couldn’t stop talking about (we’re mid 40s and I think he’s worried about getting old himself, but I didn’t mind that at all - it just meant to me that the hotel was nice enough for all these well dressed and presumably wealthier retirees We had a fun night, walked to the closest bar/restaurant off site, and managed to crash the end of a wedding reception and make friends with guests and locals. My friend slept on the murphy bed and I took the master. It was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. I’d definitely return during ski season or summer with my husband and daughter."

"The young man managing the location was excellent. He made us feel so at home and was interested in how we were doing. We also loved his dog, Percy. He recommended the restaurant in the hotel and we had an amazing three course dinner. He is truly a special person and many people will return to the hotel because of him."
Vail Run Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Check in was easy with a gift bag containing coffee and candy. The pool and hot tub areas are a special bonus. There are two free buses that pick you up at the front door and take you to downtown Vail. The buses run every 20 minutes in most cases. The kitchen was well stocked and housekeeping has an extensive list of appliances to borrow from Crock-Pots to waffle irons. The lobby area has lemon slushies coffee machine and a variety of books, games and puzzles to borrow. They also provide Internet, computer and printer. There is an underground parking lot and City Market and Safeway are close by."
