"Married couple own the lodge. They are both very nice and helpful. They have four dogs. One dog bark's a lot. Bora Bora has lots of hungry stray homeless dogs. Perhaps they provided a home to some. Also, there are other houses next to the Lodge. People make noise. Need ear plugs. You need a car or scooter for transportation. "Beautiful property that is close to Matira Beach. It is of newer construction and was in great condition. The host was very helpful in sending information about the house and things to do on the island. Communication was amazing. Check in and check out was easy. This was our favorite home on our 2 week vacation to four islands in French Polynesia. Wish we could have stayed longer!"

"Compact resort with lush landscaping. Had a banana tree right outside our door which set the right vibe. Everything was immaculate and well maintained. On-site restaurant with good food and reasonably priced for the area. Breakfast was included which was very good. Private beach, well maintained, good for snorkling and swimming in the lagoon. Overall, the Hotel Royal Bora Bora is a great value and has the near perfect vibe for a Bora Bora getaway. I would highly recommend. "
