It’s was unfortunate that my stay was during construction work on the road. So getting into and out of the motel was a little tricky. The room itself was fairly clean, few hairs and cobwebs in the bathroom, but nothing too bad. Overall it we were comfortable during our stay. There are loads of restaurants close by which was convenient. Staff were also friendly and helpful.

It's very old auberge in pretty rough shape. Screen doors aren't working. The concrete around the rooms is broken and chipped. The pool fence is falling over.The room was clean, staff were excellent, and the people staying there were friendly.

The beds were relatively new, the bathroom was nice. The bathroom door didn't close and the main door to the room was old with no added security features. Area to the left of the pool outside the fence was dirty with garbage laying around.

Always liked the property since I have stayed multiple times in the last few years but disappointed the pool water was not heated but since it was very hot, it is not that big of a deal just a shock to the system

We looked for bnb’s and found them booked or very expensive. When I hit on this motel the price and location was excellent. We really only needed a bed and bathroom, we were only there to sleep. So, in every way we needed, this motel was entirely good enough: clean comfortable if a bit rundown. We were happy.

The owners are very nice. But the place is terrible. All the rooms smell very strongly of smoke, even though there's a sign that says no smoking. And all the people staying there sit outside their rooms and chain-smoke all day, which gets more smoke into your room so you can't even leave the door open to air it out.

Friendly, helpful and very accommodating management on site. Excellent value. Clean, cozy room, super comfortable bed, ample hot water with good pressure for the shower, sparkling clean bathtub. Fridge is bigger than normal hotel mini-fridge, microwave is clean, coffee maker with coffee decaf. Within walking distance of the bus from Montreal (less than 5 minutes), food options (fast food and groceries, 3 - 10 min walk), and the Val Morin-Val David Nature reserve (20 min scenic walk), for hiking, climbing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing. Beautiful area.

This property is in a VERY sad state. The ourside has seen no upgrades. They have tried to upgrade rooms, but they were dirty with dust thick on the shelves, the ac was broken, the outdoor pool was green although he said it was 'open', there is no hot tub and they dont do breakfast or food of any kind...all amenities that they list that they have and they dont. Curtains and chairs were stained and disgusting. There is a 'sliding barn door' for the bathroom which doesnt close fully...totally weird. The beds were ok, but we suffocated without ac or ability to open a window. I have stayed in some sketchy places before, but this was truly terrible.

Needs TLC

This place needs major renovations, it is very rundown, broken floor tiles, no shower just a bath tub, and the room smelled like cigarette even though it was a non smoking room. Seems like they also keep long term residents, not the kinda place I like to stay at... but for 90$ a night I didn't expect much.

The renovations were not well done. Plumbing was visible, tiles uneven. The room was no smoking but smelled of cigarettes soon as we entered. Coffee machine was dirty.

Horrible. Dirty mattress, mattress and linens smell cigarettes and urine, dirty, dirty, dirty. No soundproof walls (we ear easily the other clients talking on the other side of the walls. Holes in walls on many spots. DO.NOT.GO.THERE. Horrible.
