Went here for a night after our flight before heading somewhere else. Short taxi to hotel from airport. Arrived late and there were choices to eat late at night walking distance.

Nice property in a decent location close to transport links. Had some issues with the pool closing with 0 notice and no one saying when it may reopen. I believe you had to pay extra for a kettle in the room which is odd considering I've stayed in 3 star hotels that have a kettle as a minimum.

Had a pleasant two night stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little dated but very spacious and definitely have all the basics for a hotel of this caliber. Breakfast was very good with a lot to choose from. The surrounding neighborhood is more residential and has some nice restaurants nearby. Decent bang for the buck overall.

Extremely poor service at the reception desk. Receptionists are - all, without exception - rude, discourteous, lacking manners, and not accommodating at all. Plus, full of hairs in bathroom and in the bed. No warm water the night we arrived.

One night business trip

One night business trip arriving in the evening so not a huge amount of time to relax, but breakfast was wonderful and the service was great. I thought the bar area was a little small for the size of the hotel and a bit formal, although it's possible to take your drinks into the foyer area where there are lounge seats. Looked for the pool, but couldn't find it. Not sure if it was open. It's a little way from the old city and beach, but the tram stops right outside the back.

This hotel was okay at best. Considering it's a 4 star hotel, the gym was a poor attempt at a fitness facility. The rooms weren't the cleanest and nor were they cleaned properly by room service. The pool was rather disappointing. The things I liked were that the ac always stayed on even if you didn't have your key card in, and the rooms were somewhat soundproof.

Hotel is beautiful. Badly needs a concierge to assist out of country visitors with restaurant locations, tourist attractions, etc. Amazed that reception staff do not speak passable English or know the location of major attractions in the City like location of the old city, ceramic museum, etc. Tourist info bureau would supply pamphlets to the hotel to assist visitors if asked!! Annoying that there is no restaurant at the hotel and that guests have to scan a QR code to get a menu!!

The only thing I liked was breakfast Front desk staff was nice but completely unhelpful. Rooms lacked basic amenities, broken, or missing items were not dealt with despite requests, location is far from everything.
