「Malena’s apartment in central Valladolid was perfect for our short visit. The tandem bedrooms with matching bathrooms, AC, and very comfortable king size beds and bedding were great after long days of cenotes, ruins and excellent shopping and dining in the area. The apartment was small but well equipped with quality kitchen wares and nice large fridge. Malena’s breakfast cafe downstairs is sweet and welcoming, and included breakfast a pleasant surprise.」

Bedrooms have lamps on each side of the beds, comfortable mattresses, luxurious pillows, and private bathrooms—one of which has a shower that opens into the private side yard. 「The owner was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were perfect :) had everything you needed. There was also a closeline out the back door for drying clothes that was really handy (And hammock hooks in the room which was cool). The yard is beautiful and has tons of greenery, birds and gheckos. Frida Kahlo the cat that lives there is very friendly and cute. :) The door also had multiple lock options and felt very safe, and the property was only a 10 minute walk from the city center. 」
