A beautiful cabin with a very comfy back porch to enjoy the view! The cabin was very clean and beautifully furnished. Sunsets were magnificent. Would highly recommend to friends and family. We are looking forward to another visit! Mentone was so fun to explore.

SCENERY

We had wonderful views of the valley down below. We especially loved to watch the train come into FT Payne in the distance.We enjoyed the hot tub and the firepit several times.

Great! kitchen well stocked- bathroom supplies a little lacking- one small bar of soap for hand washing upon arrival would be great- no big deal- Missing sheets for sofa bed- also no big deal- Please check your oven exhaust situation for safety reasons- smoke and heat goes behind to utility closet quickly /

Girls trip

The cabin was very nice & spacious....however, we could not get the fireplaces lit....called & they had someone to supposedly come light. We were not there, but when we returned, could tell someone had been there, but still neither fireplace lit. No extra blankets in cabin. Living room curtain would not close correctly & not enough curtains over windows in living room in cabin cabicould find.

Good Cabin with Great Decks

The cabin is a nice log cabin surrounded by trees. The master bed and bath are large and offer doors to the screened in porch. The upstairs room is very big with a regular size bathroom, but has it's own screened in balcony. The third bedroom offers plenty of room. All 3 have their own bathroom and tv.The main room is comfy and opens to the screened in porch. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed. It opens to the deck. Two thermostats and a double fireplace keep the temperature perfect.It is surrounded by trees so some bugs do get in. The floors could be a bit cleaner. These were not deal breakers for us.The amenities were the stars of the cabin. The deck with grill, large screened in porch with tv and lots of comfy chairs, hot tub on the level below, 2 fire pits - one in front and one in back, hammock, and the upstairs screened balcony were amazing. We enjoyed getting back from a day of site seeing to enjoy the mountain view from one of these places. We would stay here again.
