Among the very few hotels in Västervik, this one is maybe the only one that deserves attention. The scary looking building and the dark history should not fool you, it's very modern and tastefully renovated to sort of alternative hotel. The larger rooms are quite OK, not claiming much luxury but very well furnished and super comfortable. The staff is great! The breakfast is standard but very good and quite enjoyable, as well as the common spaces around. Really interesting place, absolutely deserves a visit.

Fun place, hard to check in

Fun property but getting check in info required multiple calls, emails, and eventually Hotels.com intervention. Shouldn't be that much work by the guests to confirm check in and get a door code.

Enkelt hotell med olika saker att göra om man är rastlös som Dart och olika spel. Rena rum och lokaler. Saknar dock schampoo på rummet eller alt kunna köpa det på hotellet om man glömt. Bra frukost med mycket utbud.

De cellen zijn schoon en netjes, maar comfortabel is anders. De ruimte is serieus erg krap. Wel een ontzettend leuke ervaring. Bedden zijn erg zacht. Temperatuur is goed te doen, ramen kunnen open. Leuke ambiance, vriendelijk personeel en erg behulpzaam. We zijn op de motor en kon bij onze motor goed beschermd stallen.

Das Zimmer war erwartungsgemäß klein. Leider war es aber auch sehr laut. Geräusche von draußen und vom Flur. Der Fernseher funktionierte nicht. Bad neu. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat mir persönlich sehr gut gefallen. Nettes Personal auch. Toll finde ich auch, dass tagsüber Kaffee und Kekse bereitgestellt werden. Das ist sehr gastfreundlich. Vielen Dank!

Att det var trångt för två personer (där vi bodde) visste vi förvisso och det var helt ok. Saknade däremot en galge till (det fanns bara en och vi var soma sagt två). Bra frukost, bra med parkering (gratis) och nära till centrum

Så häftigt ställe! Väldigt snyggt rum och badrum, litet men det förstår man ju. Det enda minuset var att det var lyhört ut mot korridoren och man hörde lätt andra "intagna".

Svit "Styrelserummet"

Ett jätte intressant hotell där man känner historiens vingslag. Det är både museum och hotell i ett. Vi hade en svit på 100 kvm som var lika fullutrustad som en lägenhet. Det fanns 2 sovrum, kök, vardagsrum, 2 toaletter, tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Sängarna var 180 cm, 120 cm och en 90 cm. Gott om plats för 4-6 personer. Det finns flera väldigt fina gemenskaps ytor på hotellet, både inom och utomhus. Gårdsytan vid entrén är trevlig och det finns flera olika spel och lekytor. Det här hotellet kommer att uppskattas av både barn och vuxna. Vi vill definitivt tillbaka till svit "Styrelserummet".
