“Réservation faite avec Expedia 1 adulte 1 enfant de 10 ans , petits déjeuners inclus. Une erreur a été commise puisque l'enfant n'a pas été pris en compte. Ma fille a dû repayé le petit déjeuner et l'hôtel ment en disant qu'elle n'a payé que la taxe locale x 2 alors qu'elle ne s'applique pas aux mineurs. Une honte de ne pas prendre ses responsabilités !!!”

“Chambre annulée sur place alors que payée. Très mauvais accueil. Surbooking pour atterrir à 2kms… un Mercure… attention de ne pas confondre Surbooking et Dol. Une fois arrivé au Mercure 4*… Télévision qui ne fonctionne pas, plus de place sur le parking à 20:30, pas de gel douche dans la SDB… pour un surclassement en 4 étoiles… c’est limite… très limite. Il faudrait penser à se poser les bonnes questions. Personnellement je ne me les pose plus concernant ces deux établissements ; a fuir, next.……

“Had a great stay at the property, which is in a nice small village outside of Carcassonne. The breakfast was very nice, with various breads and jams fruits and such. The bathroom was quite large and the room had ample pace and such for clothes. There is a restaurant about 50m away that is very good. Probably the best part is that the proprietrix is wonderful.”

“La propriété et le logement sont tout simplement excellents. Le parc est très verdoyant et arboré et très bien entretenu. L espace piscine est idéalement placé et bucolique. La chambre pinson est très spacieuse, apaisante, avec une belle vue sur l'autre parc. la salle de bain est très belle et agréable. Une climatisation fixe est disponible en cas de grosse chaleur. Bref, tout est idéal pour tout oublier et se régaler. Finissons par le service : nous n'avons pris que le petit déjeuner qui fut……

“Turned up to hotel at 2.45 door locked with notice stating staff returning at 5pm. Still nobody at 5.15. Other clients arrived stating they had received an email from owner with code entrance and room number. We did not! Tried ringing owner.Taking the initiative we worked out from the register what rooms were taken so we took a key. The hotel is smelly, dark and very unwelcoming. Our room had staining around the toilet bowl no shower curtain so the floor was flooded and dangerous. There was……

“We stayed at Le Grand Bassin Guesthouse for one night before picking up our Le Boat for a 10-day cruise east. I can say without hesitation that we had a perfect stay! We arrived on Castelnaudry by train, and then walked to the guesthouse, so of course we were behind schedule. Sophie waited patiently for us and, on our arrival, called Chez David in town to make sure we would get a table for dinner. Sophie is an exceptional host, and our room was clean and comfortable. We did not have breakfast……

“We visited for a weekend from the UK to attend a wedding in the area. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and we arrived to find that our two twin rooms and had been changed to a family suite, which was perfect for our needs. Lovely breakfast and everything spotlessly clean. Air con was much appreciated during a very hot weekend. The only disappointment was that the pool was dirty and poorly maintained - I wasn’t even sure if it was open, the condition was so poor, with murky cloudy……
