"This place didn't disappoint. The river view and fishing under the canopy was fun for all with room to relax and swim as well. We had some rain, but was still able to enjoy the fresh air with the covered deck. Rooms were nice and we had everything we needed to make the stay a nice relaxing experience. "The place was immaculate. Family Retreat is like a 5 star hotel. Crisp sheets. Plush towels. Plenty of room for friends and family to come for dinner. Excellent Wi-Fi. Nice beach near by. The pictures don’t do this place justice. We had a beautiful surprise when we saw how incredibly gorgeous this placed is. Everything in this place looks brand new. Now I want to remodel our family room with knotty pine. (Sorry hubby) I told the owner, “I could live here, it’s so beautiful!”"

"We got there in the middle of snowing. The house was frigid. The driveway and walk were not shoveled. It would have been hard to do that since you didn't know when we were coming, but you could have had the heat turned up. Also having directions on how to turn the heat up would have helped. "
