The housing was clean. Beds were uncomfortable. It got really cold at night, and they provided us with sheets as a blanket. Cleaning lady was rude, she was trying to explain to us how to use the keys in Italian , however we didn't understand her, she got frustrated, raised her voice, gave us attitude and yelled at us. Is alright though because we didn't understand what she was saying. Good location.

Very bad service

I made appointment to arrive at 6:30pm. But when I arrived around 6:30pm the owner or her representative instead left the keys in a box. The keys are very difficulty to use and I broke a key while trying to open the gate. The representative immediately blamed me for the broken key saying "I used force" while I only tried to open as I usually do. I asked the representative to come and she said she can not because she lives in another island. After about 40 minutes someone inside opened the gate for me. The representative asked me to take pictures of our passports and send them to her. I do not feel comfortable sending passport information electronically and so I asked her to come to get the information in person. She said she can come only at 2pm the second day. Well I went to Venice for vacation, not to wait in the hotel. The representative asked me to pay city tax at 4 euros per person per night, while my reservation email says 2 euros per person per night with a 30% reduction from 1/1 to 1/31 so it comes down to 1.4 euros per person per night. I asked my housemate and he was asked to pay 6 euros per person per night.

No Hot Water/Door Didn't Lock. Nobody to help

We had no hot water for 2 days, never saw a member of staff other than housekeeping (not even at check-in or check-out) and for the first day our door didn't lock so we couldn't leave the room. When we complained via WhatsApp about these issues to a number we'd been given, we got no response.

Хороший гостевой дом-Квартира на 4 комнаты +холл/кухня. Не понравилось, что есть доплаты, про которые нигде не написано. При чем хозяйка сказала, что доплата за уборку, но ни комнаты, ни санузел не убирались за 3 дня. А в общем, неплохое местечко!

You get what you pay for. This place is pretty cheap. Four rooms with multiple people each all shared one bathroom. No hot water was available to shower. It was loud. Bed was rough. I'd just stay outside venice proper next time.

Budget accommodation in beautiful Cannaregio

We loved staying here. The accommodation is basic and the people in the other rooms were often quite noisy in the middle of the night, but we had a lovely time. We knew it wasn't going to be luxurious, you get what you pay for! Location was great for us, a stone's throw from the Fondamenta Nuove vaporetto stop, and a great spot to explore the local areas. Agata, who welcomed us, was amazing, full of tips and advice - we know Venice quite well, and she still gave us lots of valuable info!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per una notte durante il nostro soggiorno a Venezia e non siamo rimasti totalmente soddisfatti. La casa è carina e le dimensioni della nostra camera erano ampie, così come quelle del nostro bagno privato in camera. Aimè però abbiamo riscontrato un paio di problematiche: 1) non essendo presidiata non abbiamo nemmeno potuto lasciare le valigie, per poi fare check-in al pomeriggio ed abbiamo quindi dovuto girare tutta la giornata col trolley per Venezia (il che non è proprio comodissimo, visti anche i tantissimi ponti con gradini sparsi per la città), per proi presentarci davanti alla casa ad un orario prestabilito, perchè chi doveva consegnarci le chiavi aveva già degli altri impegni programmati in diverse fasce orarie... 2) la spesa si è rivelata davvero alta per la qualità ricevuta poichè 74€ per la camera + 15€ per la pulizia + 6€ di tassa di soggiorno, sono davvero una cifra altissima per il servizio ricevuto... 3) stesso problema per quanto concerne il check-out, non essendo una struttura presidiata abbiamo dovuto passare parte del pomeriggio in giro per Venezia con il trolley. Nonostante questo, farei un plauso alle due ragazze che si occupano della consegna delle chiavi che, nonostante la regolamentazione scomoda di questa sistemazione, hanno fatto il possibile per venirci in contro.

Det värsta var att det tog oss två timmar att hitta fram till boendet. Två timmar vi hade velat spendera i Venedigs fina kvarter. Det finns två gator med detta namn i Venedig, något inte ens GPSen kunde visa. De flesta vi frågade visste inte alls detta. När vi till slut hittat fanns inte en enda skylt, det ligger mörkt längst in i en gränd! Det var cafeet innan som räddade oss. Framme vid porten gick det knappt att låsa upp den. Vår nyckel gick till ännu ett rum. Men ok, vi behövde bara sova där. Inga nummer på rummen och ingen skymt av ägaren!

Problemas de manutenção x excelente localização

Ar condicionado móvel com duto solto da parede. Luz do quarto nao funcionava, apenas o abajour. Porta do box do banheiro solta. Tivemos muita dificuldade no self check-in, por conta do portão principal do imóvel, que apresentava problemas. Nenhum destes problemas é impeditivo para o tipo de passeio que gosto, mas é bom que o proprietário atente para estes problemas, que são fáceis de resolver. Pontos positivos: excelente localização, notebook à disposição dos hóspedes e cozinha muito completa, apesar de ser proibido usar o fogão. Foi um ótimo custo beneficio!

arrived at house at time indicated in email to owners in order to obtain key to enter property - they did not arrive had to use my mob phone to call twice to get hold of them - when staff member arrived she indicated that they had not received my email - although my email indicated it had been read !! a similar thing happened to guests the following day ! shower head did not work but was replaced straight away when staff informed of issue. Room comfortable although no mirror.

No grata experiencia. Difícil ubicación.

La ubicación no es buena. Hay dos calles con el mismo nombre debería colocar más datos de referencia. Quisimos dejar las maletas y luego volver hacer el check in porque íbamos a perder un Tour, la encargada no quiso que dejemos las maletas hasta pagar. Y una vez que pagamos tampoco, pues debíamos esperar a que el cuarto estuviera listo para poder irnos. Finalmente entre tanta espera perdimos el Tour.

The room was good, very clean and nice. It had a great view on the boat parking and the channel. The AC in the room didn't work well though. The host is ok, but stopped responding to messages after I've paid her. The same told other guys staid there together with us.

This hotel was so difficult to find and hard to get to. Once we were there, we were happy to see that it was clean and comfortable. We had difficulty contacting the people who were meant to check us in and had to have current tenants of the hotel let us into the building in order to access wifi. Do not stay at this place if you do not have telephone service because they will only meet you to check in once you call them.

Very nice place to stay in Venice on low budget

Hotel was very nice and clean. Location of the hotel was very nice aswell. Agatha was very helpful with the check-in. Only problem was the shower, it had low pressure and only cold water.

Place was not as advertised. There are 4 rooms that share one bathroom, living room and a kitchen (which you’re not allowed to use). 4 rooms means about 8-12 people waking up at about the same time trying to use the one bathroom, doesn’t go well. The bathroom is also supposed to have hot water as the land lord with tell you, but after a few days there I only felt hot water for a total of a minute. Place also isn’t storm ready, a big thunder storm came during our stay. Found my self working with another person staying there to prop the entrance door with a chair so the rain didn’t come into the house. All this aside the internet and AC were very nice and the beds do exist so some credit must be given. Ps land lord was intimidating and not responsive to lack of hot water.

Comme à la maison

Guest house très bien située au nord de Venise et à proximité des restaurants traditionnels et non touristiques. Maisons très bien équipée. Accueil très chaleureux. A 10 min de la place St Marc dans quartier calme.
