Nati's House; Venice centre, in the lively district of Cannaregio, canal view

We rent our flat in Venice for short weekly stays all year round (preferably weekly stays but we can accept a minimum stay of three days). The flat is suitable for no more than two people. “Nati’s House” offers the comfort and the charm that could emphasize the value of your stay in this spectacular city of the world. Very well lighted, it faces with a balcony a marvellous typical Venetian canal, in a part of Venice, which still belongs to Venetians. We think this is a great value for the wise tourist with cultural aims.
The flat is completely furnished, some pieces of furniture are antique and it is located at the floor above the ground floor. This means that it is at the 'second level' considering the USA meaning, Mind that in Italy and most of Europe 'first floor' indicates what in the USA is a 'second level'. This clarification is just to point out how the apartment is safely far from humidity of the Venetian ground floors. Anyway, it is easily reachable with only one flight of stairs. “Nati’s House” is located at just four-minute walk from the Alilaguna water bus stop (direct shuttle boat service from/to the airport).

Starting from 24 March 2025, guests find a completely new bed (new net and a new double mattress). We thanks the guests who pointed out in their reviews the necessity of this replacement.

Starting from January 2026 guests find completely new windows and shutters.
In February 2026 the sofa bed will be replaced with a new one (we have already ordered it!). Before summer 2026 we plan to install AC to face the hottest urban weather conditions. If AC installation will go on smoothly, prices will be slightly rise. So, booking now the current available days (and so fixing the price), may be convenient!

We have an automatic door opening device for the check in. It works with a simple telephonic call: your phone has to be able to initiate a call to an Italian number while you are standing in front of our building door (GSM enabled, the European dominant standard for digital cellular networks -as to your provider for any doubt-). There are no costs for this call: the opening system does not reply, just recognize the phone number of the caller. There might be other check-in methods but they must be approved far before the arrival and they may imply some expenses.

Wonderful location near the drop off from the airport. Plenty of space for 2 people and very clean and quiet. We loved walking every where. I would recommend this location. Picture is taken from the small balcony in the evening.

Paolo’s place is in Cannaregio, on a small canal in an authentic Italian residential area, but only a few minutes walk from the Guglie water bus stop, so very convenient. We bought a 48 hour water bus pass and went to the island of Murano, St. Mark’s Square, and Rialto Bridge area. The neighborhood is very quiet at night, which was a nice break from the crowds of the tourist areas. We walked from our place to the historic Jewish ghetto neighborhood, through the streets, to where the canal meets the sea. The apartment was well equipped, the bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed having a balcony overlooking the canal. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking to stay in Venice.

Perfect spot on the little canal

The apartment was just as portrayed. The neighborhood was quiet & safe. Very short walk to many excellent family owned restaurants. The water bus was close and easy to use. We enjoyed sitting on the little balcony watching the boats go by or just enjoying the canal. We would definitely come back here again.

Amazing neighborhood!

The location is perfect, close to many local restaurants and removed from the busy tourist areas. Easily accessible to the train station and vaperetto. The flat is clean and comfortable, the terrace is perfect and a great way to end your day exploring Venice.

A Nice Apartment in a Great Location

We were given extensive and clear instructions on how to access the property. Any questions were answered in a timely manner. The property was very nice and clean and the bed comfortable. I enjoyed the patio to sit and read or just enjoy the surroundings. The washing machine was welcome so we could do some laundry. It’s also in a good location close to restaurants and shopping, yet our property is in a quiet neighborhood. Would definitely book again.

Quiet spot away from the crowds

Loved the place, lovely spot and decorated so beautiful. I enjoyed staying in an area where it was nice and quiet away from the crowds but a quick walk to everything. A great place to stay!! Highly recommend it.

Great property and location. Fabulous information from Paolo with good directions and very easy check in. I did find the mattress in the bedroom a little firm but totally realise that it is a very personal preference. Overall would recommend and would definitely stay here again

Amazing location

The perfect location, quiet street with beautiful view. Was very hot (August) and no Air conditioning, but lots of Fans were provided which was nice to have. Great amenities in the apartment & great kitchen set-up. Host was quick to help us and communicate, very kind and helpful. I would stay here again.

Quiet location

Stayed three days. Conveniently located. Such a quiet area!!! After you have been in the crowds of Venice it is wonderful to come back to this place. We had an issue with getting into apt but Paulo was on it right away and able to resolve issue.

Idyllic

It was a simply wonderful stay in Venice!! The apartment is comfy and had everything we needed. The bedroom is huge! The balcony off the living room was stunning. We slept with the windows open...and I swear you could hear a pin drop...so quiet away from the crowds. Restaurants nearby and vaporetto stop maybe a 3 minute walk...Rialto bridge area was less than 10 minute walk.

Paolo was very informative for check-in and arrival details. This quaint, quite, fully equipped apartment is perfect for two. Pictures represent the apartment well. The area is easily accessed by water taxi and within 20 min walking distance of most must see sites. Although the bed was a little hard for our liking we still enjoyed our time at this lovely apartment.

Very convenient location for visiting Venice, near Santa Lucia train station, restaurants and Guglie vaporetto. Quiet neighborhood and easy communication with the host. The apartment was OK for three days; the kitchen/living room would perhaps benefit from some revamping for longer stays.

Amazing piece of heaven in Venice

After staying in noisy apartments in Rome and Florence, this apartment in Venice was a sanctuary. Very cute And cozy apartment with a gorgeous little terrace. If you want to get the local vibe with access to all the tourist areas of Venice, then this is a great stay. We had access to amazing local restaurants off the main drag. I highly recommend to couples, couples traveling with other couples, and small families.

Venice on the Canal

The location of this apartment was just perfect for us. It was extremely peaceful, especially at night, but only a short walk away from the shops and restaurants. The apartment was comfortable and met our needs while we were in Venice. Paolo was easy to communicate with and he provided very detailed instructions for the check-in directions for finding the apartment.

Fabulous Space in a Perfect Neighborhood!

Nati's House is a charming, comfortable spot that is easily roomy enough for 2 or 3 people. The balcony is a charming spot to watch the neighbors go about their days, and the location is perfect for restaurants/cafes in Cannaregio and a short walk to the train station & major vaporetto stops. Paolo is a communicative, kind host. HIGHLY recommended!

The perfect way to see Venice

We arrived on waterbus from the airport and it was a short walk to the appartment. It is a beautiful and relaxing space filled with very interesting art and overlooks the canal. But, it is so well placed! You are in the quieter part of Venice with lots of great restaurants around. You can then dip into the busier parts of Venice as and when you feel like it! Very cool!!
