"Our other hotel canceled on us and I was able to book a last minute room here. No regrets! Very kind reception at night and tips on where to find free street parking. The room was comfortable with the balcony being the best part. You can see the mountains and tiny monasteries from there if you get a mountain view. Breakfast was delicious..not too many people there in March so it was just us and a couple of other small groups. A couple of staff there in the morning. Delicious cold cuts and toast. 10 ish minutes to the monasteries, depending which ones you want to visit."

"This property is a STANDOUT. Right from the check-in the staff were fantastic. The room was beautiful and fronted onto the pool (a bit cool for us to swim but a lovely outlook). Breakfast was included - homemade and extensive. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in the area this should be your first choice. SPECIAL "
