“The city of Manosque isn't really worth a visit - I chose it thinking it was central to the lavender fields and close to the L'Occitane factory (I call it the Poughkeepsie of Provence...). I thought it would be a good idea to have a cheap hotel in the pedestrian section of town but what I hadn't taken into consideration is that the high cost of parking our rental car made this "budget" hotel more expensive than the Ibis on the outskirts of town. If I had it to do over I wouldn't stay at this……

“The hotel is a little paradise that you should not miss on your way to Gorge Verdon. We are so happy that we had stayed there 1 night in our Provence trip. It's surrounded by a golf course with mountain view at back so you can imagine how beautiful it is when at sunset and sunrise. Wake up early and take a walk around the golf course in the morning is a romance experience. The breakfast is excellent, don't miss the home-made yogurt which is thick and tasety.”
