The house was great. Very clean and had everything we needed. Great location and loved the pool and hot tub. Unfortunately we won’t be returning as the main bed was too firm for us. We were barely able to sleep and needed the hot tub afterwards. Other than the mattress, everything else was perfect.

The house was absolutely perfect! From the pool to the living area, it was easy to get to and the guest contact was so easy to contact and answered questions very fast! The house was clean and there were enough towels so we weren’t washing towels nonstop. We will be saving this house and coming back!

Great times in. Vermilion, Ohio.

Our family had a fantastic time at this riverfront home. There was plenty of room to spread out and visit with family. The indoor pool and hot tub were awesome. The house was located close to beaches, parks for hiking, fishing, and shopping, definitely something for everyone. The owner also replied quickly to any questions we had.

Great family vacation.

Everything was spotless when we checked in. There were plenty of supplies in the kitchen. The pool was everything we expected and the highlight of our trip. The host contacted us immediately to see if we needed anything. The area is quiet and very nice and also close to things if needed. We have been here two years in a row and loved it both times. I highly recommend this place. There were absolutely no issues.

Close to everything!

We had such a lovely stay! The house was clean and cozy, the pool room is fantastic and even better in person and the owner was very responsive when we needed questions answered. The house is close to main street which features many cute shops and restaurants, plus 7 mins from papermoon winery. It was easy to get there and back with little ones. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home

This was our second stay at this property. The home is spacious and beautiful. The huge indoor pool area is amazing as is the deck running the length of the house along the river. It’s close to Cedar Point and many Lake Erie beaches. We love to look for sea glass. Guest host is helpful and local if you need something. We will be back.

The house was a perfect weekend away to celebrate my husbands birthday and much needed! Pictures do not do it justice! The pool room is large with so many different seating options and goes out to a large deck that overlooks the water. It was perfect for relaxing, playing games, and cooking for a crowd!

Great set up for playing games and hanging out. Only had 2 issues: pool was cold the first day but warmed up quickly and the house has a strange lay out with a bedroom with no door. We got over it and enjoyed our stay.

Great location and very clean

We had a very fun time, the place was very clean, the place was warm and cozy. One of the bedrooms does not have a door and you must use the bedroom to get to the pool area which we didn’t realize until we got there but it wasn’t too big of a deal because we were with family. The dolphin for the pool didn’t work but didn’t affect the fun we had. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had for the pool and house. We had a really great time!

Birthday Getaway

I can’t believe how great this place was! My fiancé and I invited some friends to come celebrate my birthday and it was better than expected. The pool room by far is the highlight of this house. Other than sleeping and eating, we never left the pool. It is the ultimate party spot for all occasions. We payed extra for the pool to be heated, but personally I think we could’ve done without. The weather was much colder when we booked and seemed necessary, but with the temperature being 50 degrees during our trip, it made the room very humid. Just keep that in mind when booking. With that being said, I stand by my 5 stars for this property. We will definitely be staying again.

Perfect property near Lake Erie

This home is exceptional. The furnishings are beautiful, extremely clean, incredible deck the length of the house on the river and the pool area is unbelievable. We didn’t want to leave. Went to Vermilion for the eclipse but already decided to book it again for a trip to Cedar Point this Fall. The only thing to be aware of is the fifth bedroom is between the pool area (sliding glass doors in between) and has no door from the main living area). Not a problem for us but something to be aware of. We will be back.

Mike, the host was always very responsible and accommodating. Creating memories with my adult children and grandchildren at Vermilion River Home was the best! I was looking for somewhere that would accommodate all age groups and with the indoor pool this home was perfect!

A wonderful home, pool. We love vermilion and come every year. First time here ant this property and definitely coming back. Home was clean, well stocked in every way and Michael was great and very helpful . Loved being on the river with our canoe. Thank you for giving us a much needed relaxing vacation.

Family Vacation

We had a great stay! This house was accommodating for our family of 12. We had ages 1 to 52. We went to Cedar Point, Great Wolf Lodge, Go Carts, rented a pontoon and Mini Golf. We caught and released catfish on the canal, and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We stayed in one of the 1st weeks of June with the weather not super warm and a little rainy - having the indoor pool was perfect for the kiddos. Would highly recommend and stay again.
