Wir fühlten uns willkommen

Ohne Corniglia zu kennen, waren wir davon ausgegangen an das Quartier heranfahren zu können, bei der Frage nach dem Weg begegnete uns die Einheimischen mit einem Schmunzeln: Unser Fehler! Danach war alles toll. Das Auto fand einen Platz außerhalb des Ortes auf einem zugehörigen priv. Parkplatz. Die Begrüßung durch Sandra und ihren Mann war sehr herzlich. Das Haus mit unserem Zimmer lag am zentralen Platz des Ortes, wo man sich abends traf. Unser Zimmer lag zur anderen Seite raus, mit Blick zu den Weinbergen und vom Balkon aus könnte man das Meer sehen. Alles war frisch renoviert, sauber und einladend. Ein paar Haken im Bad für die Kulturbeutel und im Zimmer für die Garderobe würden das Zimmer perfekt machen.

Incredible room and overall experience

Amazing, if I had to put it in one word. Got a room relatively last minute and could not have been more pleasantly surprised. Sandra is an absolute angel, so helpful. Explained the surrounding the area to us and made sure we had as comfortable an experience as possible. The room was sparkling clean, the bathroom was nice. Our room had a terrace that opened out to an incredible view of Corniglia and the sea. This was probably the cherry on top of the whole experience and what I miss most. Right outside our door, Sandra had the shuttle and train schedule Posted for our reference. WiFi is included and worked pretty well. There is A/C, which is not always a given from what I could tell during my search. Corniglia is a very chill, tranquil place in comparison to the rest of the cinque terre villages. Our room was in a central part of town, not far from the shuttle stop and several restaurants, cafes, and gelaterias. A few meters away was a staircase that leads down to the sea. Could not have asked for a better place to stay!

Superfin vecka i Corniglia!

Vädret skiftade från kyligt o regn till soligt men det var rätt perfekt väder för vandring. Sandras rum var toppen med sin lilla balkong i solen o med fin utsikt, rent o fräscht. Perfekt läge, kom direkt ut på gatan till frukost el kvällsdrink på Caffé Matteo. Jättefin vecka!!
