Old world charm

Two night stay in this lovely chateau. We truly enjoyed the wonderful room, gargantuan bathroom, the grounds and the pool.

Wonderful

Excellent welcome. We arrived at the gate and we're greeted in a very friendly professional manner. We were welcomed into the lovely courtyard with a smile and guided professionally through the check in process. Our french is not very good and their english was excellent so it made us feel at ease. We were shown around the property and guided to our accommodation plus very helpfully booked in for a session in the Spa in the cave which is wonderful. We were also provided with much helpful information about a party which was going on in the courtyard that evening and places where we could go to eat in the evening. A wonderful stay and we hope to return one day for longer!

Luxurious stay in the Loire Valley

What an incredible coincidence! We stayed at this same hotel in the same room 8 years ago! Last time, the little bed in the corner wasn’t necessary for a couple, but this time we came with our 2 year old son who loved sleeping in his first real bed! The new indoor pool is a luxurious addition since our 2016 stay and this time we splurged for the in-room breakfast, which was so copious and delicious that we haven’t been hungry for the rest of the day! More than worth the additional charge!

The property has so much potential. Unfortunately the chateau has a lot of unnecessary clutter inside and out. The art is not in keeping with the ambience of a chateau. A lot of junk around. The facility fit and finish is not very well done.

Fantastisk god modtagelse og service af Engelsktalende receptionist og ejer, et rigtigt slot med roustik indretning. speciel kan den indendørs pool fremhæves, der kan bookes så man som familie kan have den privat. Slottet er placeret i rolige omgivelser midt i vin området.

Historically great Chateau and comfortable hotel

I am Kim from Korea and I stayed two nights in this historically great Chateau constructe long time ago( maybe 11 century). The restoration is perfectly done and the garden is good too. I also enjoyed the beautiful swimmiing pool. There are many attaction sites inside 30min from this Chateau and the breakfast was great too. I hope to say thanks to the hotel for comfortable staying.

Excellent séjour

Excellent séjour : personnel accueillant, chambre spacieuse et confortable, verre de bienvenue, jolie piscine chauffée, très bon petit-déjeuner. Le seul point négatif, s’il en faut un, c’est la connexion wifi capricieuse. J’y retournerais avec plaisir.

Beautiful country chateau

The staff at Chateau de Jallanges were wonderful. We arrived late and Helen left little notes around the property directing us to the room. The children had a great time following the clues. The hotel was beautiful. They have done a great job restoring the property. The breakfast was fantastic with freshly baked pies and several homemade jams

Wonderful Chateau in the countryside

We spent several days/nites at this wonderful Chateau located in the country side. Staff and owner was very friendly. There is a very nice garden area and lots of tables and chairs to enjoy. A rental car is required to stay at this property as it is several kilometer from a village.

Shabby chic and total charm

We had a suite and apart from the one double, the other single beds were very small. Would have been fine for kids. The breakfast was amazing and the lady host was charming. It was easy to forgive the more homely aspects as the owner had bought it as a ruin at an early age and done it up himself. A really amazing thing.

Authentic Chateau Experience

The Chateau De Jallanges is an authentic Chateau experience. While you may find the fittings somewhat aged, it adds to the charm of a magnificent historical Chateau. We absolutely loved our stay! Highly recommend the breakfast, for the awesome experience of dining in a royal setting.

Nice castle experience

Nice stay at a castle. For those who want experiment a night at a castle at a reasonable price ($315 C) it worth the money. Very good breakfast included in the price.

Our stay at the Chateau de Jallanges was a truly unique experience; rarely, does one get to spend the night in an actual chateau! Thick masonry walls, breeze through the windows at night, squeaky wood floors, ancient timbers, high ceilings, views out to French gardens, a tree-lined allee approach and a pea gravel carriage court along with some resident farm animals. While Jallanges is a bit remote- a short drive through rolling farmland from Vouvray, it was an enjoyable stay. The staff and owner was friendly and the breakfast in the big dining room very nice. Definitely something our of the ordinary!

A castle by the name of chateau

I can't gush enough about this place. It looks like a castle & has all the feel of one on the inside. It was a splurge price wise 230 Euro but the apartment we got slept 5 so if you split it up among several it's not so bad. One room had a double bed. Another had 2 twins with a sitting area. The last one wasn't much more than a closet & had a twin. The bathroom had 2 sinks & a claw foot tub. The breakfast was 13 Euro but worth every penny. There was a chapel & garden on site to be explored. The chateau was in the booneys but town was about 15 minutes with several eating places. The receptionist was British so language is no problem. I highly recommend this place.

Interesante oportunidad de estar habitando un verdadero castillo. Las habitaciones son realmente las originales, pero para ser utilizadas como hotel, urge una profunda remodelación. El colchón muy viejo e incómodo, el baño de buen tamaño, pero poco funcional. Desayuno bueno. Demasiado alejado de lugares de interés

Slapen in een oud chateau.

Erg leuk hotel voor een gezin met kleine ridders. In plaats van de verwachte kamer, kregen we zelfs een complete vleugel met 3 kamers. Aanrader!

是个复古的城堡，环境相当的好啊，还有游泳池，虽然我们没有去，但是看着水还是很干净的。城堡里还有花园，穿着伴娘服拍了很多的照片，真是美美哒。房间也是古色古香的那种，可惜我们第二天一早就走了，要是可以多住一会儿，就更加好啦。

Chateau experience

The chateau is beautiful, tranquil and relaxing. Would love to enjoy a longer stay. Our rooms were nicely decorated in a charming style and views of the gardens. The rooms were large and comfortable. Helen was extremely helpful and nice to us. She made us feel very welcome.

château pour une escapade en amoureux.

Dés notre arrivée nous sommes dans "l'ambiance". Le château es magnifique et les châtelains très serviable. Le parc est sublime pour des balade et de bon petit restaurant se situe proche de la demeure. Véritable petit bonheur pour une escapade en tête à tête.
