“Very clean, new, and sparkling apartment! Our host thought of everything! Even a dishwasher! We didnt need an extra heater as the apt. Was toasty warm and dry. Clean white towels, soap, shampoo and body wash all supplied. ”

“The lake was nice and the view from the deck. The toilet flushed and there was running water so there was that. However, a sure sign we were headed into trouble was the multiple forms we had to sign that there were no refunds and the weird reasons they would not give a refund. We walked into the place and immediately noticed a line of ants over the wall. The lights in both bedrooms didn't work and had to be replaced and the fridge door handle was broken off. In general the whole place felt……

“Basic cottage. We appreciated air conditioning and view. Exterior chairs where all broken, had to wash dishes, dirty floors. BBQ had no grill so took neighbors, was rusty and very dirty. Can not swim as mentioned. Only for fishing. There is a beach at a waking distance but not nice to swim in, small and weeds. Good place to fish if this is your intention. Fast response when communicating. Will ask you to sign a discharge right at the beginning which is not a good sign. Can’t get refund. Not as……

“Family friendly, we were a family of 8 and it met all our needs.”

“This was a decent rental for the money. The sofa is almost not usable - you can see the lumps and feel the springs under the slip cover. The listing wasn’t clear there would be people in the basement. You could hear them sometimes through the vents. But the unit was very clean and suited our purposes. ”

“Awesome property for a group of friends trying to hangout and have a good time. Owner was super helpful and understanding on various matters. Great beach access, where you can swim to various different islands and do cliff jumping. As you can see in the photo, there was also a water trampoline which the owners allowed us to use. On top of this, the owners provide kayaks and boats you can use to go into the water. Spacious cabins, and we were even granted an additional one complimentary. Overall……

“Sheets were filthy. Mold on coffee maker. Bugs in room. Vrbo mis represented the property.We did not stay on the property and would like a full refund.”

“The stove wasn’t working and periodically gave a beep (similar to a fire alarm low battery). We didn’t need it so just unplugged it. The owner was responsive and offered to fix it but since it didn’t impact us we told them it could wait. Only mentioning in case it still isn’t fixed for the next renter so that they have proof it’s a known issue. ”

“This place is just a lot less glamorous than the listing would imply. We had 9 adults in our group but this cabin only sleeps 6 max. So we had to rent a second cabin for full price. The manager was helpful tho and answered our questions. ”
