It was a good location. Convenient walk to the Palace. Near restaurants and bars. The room was nice. There was a plumbing issue with our toilet; another guest complained of lighting issue and a room change. The breakfast was subpar. Limited television options and all channels are in French.

We booked this hotel as it was so close to the palace of Versailles. The hotel was charming & the room was perfect. Myself & my 2 granddaughters had a triple room. The room was just right for a one night stay with fans & extra blankets available. We booked for breakfast which was varied, plentiful & delicious. We were able to leave our bags which was a great bonus. The staff were so helpful & professional. Thank you

Great location in centre of Versailles. The room was small, clean and had an on suite. Close to station to get train into Paris. Plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. Ideal for a short stay.

Staff was very friendly, and the close location to the train station and Chateau Versailles cannot be beat. The room was clean and set up for our family of four. We only stayed one night, but it was perfect.

Lovely and friendly place to stay in Versailles

We stayed for 2 days in the Hotel des Roys and had a fantastic time. The staff was very friendly, helpful and very accomodating. The downside was the bedroom which was a bit outdated and needs a new fresh lick of paint as it was dull grey but overall it was nearly perfect: location was excellent. Breakfast was excellent lots to choose from!

Walking distance from Versailles palace & local train station (Paris only 30mins by train). Free parking on the street outside the hotel in August. Very friendly reception staff. Rooms a bit tired and dated but clean. Lovely food in pub next door - Would definitely return.

Fantastic value hotel right on the main avenue for the Palace of Versailles, with train station a 2 min walk to whisk you into central Paris in 25 mins. Family room for 4 (2 adults 2 kids) compact but fine for our needs. Brand new modern bathroom was really nice. Great, if simple, breakfast sets you up for the day!

Hotel is knus en op toplocatie. Wij hadden een tripple room op de 3e etage en die was ruim. Ontbijt was simpel maar genoeg keuze. Personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kleine minpunt: we wisten dat er geen airco was, (ook na het lezen van reviews) maar dachten valt wel mee. Nou, dat was een zware domper, met de hitte van deze week hielpen de twee sta ventilatoren niet echt. Helaas geen mogelijkheid om beneden een kamer te krijgen, omdat daar geen tripple rooms zijn. Wij hebben de reis met een dag verkort. Erg jammer, want was er aircondition geweest, dan was het perfect geweest. Eigenlijk ook wel een must in ieder hotel! Hotel is echt aan te raden voor de wat koelere periodes.
