Peace and tranquility

The photos do not do this property justice. Its a lovely large secluded house in the middle of sunflower fields. The owners live next door and were on hand for anything we might need, but we didn't see or hear them unless we needed to. They were the perfect hosts. It was a great location for our extended family getaway. The pool was perfect and provided good shade for the children. There is a sandpit and a wooden lookout that are not pictured, but were a lovely surprise. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

Maison spacieuse avec une superbe vue et des couchers de soleil au top. Accueil très chaleureux avec en plus des mirabelles délicieuses!La maison est parfaitement équipée et très propre, nous étions 16 au total. Calme assuré pour le repos mais proche de la ville de Brantome pour les visites, Aubeterre pour les balades en canoe et quelques beaux chateaux dans la région. Tout le monde a bien profité de la piscine qui était très bien entretenue. Nous recommandons vivement! Merci beaucoup!!!

Nous avons passé trois jours délicieux.Accueil très sympathique et chaleureux des propriétaires. Une douzaine d’œufs (extra frais) des poules du jardin nous attendait !Nous étions nombreux mais la maison était très grande, extrêmement propre et très bien équipée.Tous les produits d’entretien nécessaires étaient à notre disposition.Les lits étaient faits, le chauffage était enclenché.Chacun est reparti ravi de ce séjour de détente! Nous avons pu profiter de toutes les prestations du gîte, y compris la capacité maximale de 17 personnes, enfants et adultes. Sylvie est disponible et discrète, répondant aux demandes et remarques, c'est top. L'emplacement est paisible, la maison est trés agréable à vivre et les équipements fonctionnels, le cadre paisible. Un paradis pour les enfants

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la grande piscine, totalement sécurisée, le portique, la table extérieure, le coffre à jouets, la "cabane-perchoir" au fond du jardin. Les propriétaires sont mitoyens mais très discrets et charmants. Bien sûr si l'objectif est de faire des balades nature à pied, on sera un peu frustré car à 1km à la ronde il n'y a que des maïs et des tournesols. Mais à quelques kilomètres nous avons pu visiter le remarquable sîte de Brantôme, les tourbière de Vendoire, plusieurs sites médiévaux magnifiques. Côté équipements, rien ne manque, sauf peut-être un peu d'espace cuisine car pour faire à manger pour 12 personnes il serait parfois utile de pouvoir s'étaler un peu plus. Mais ce n'est qu'un détail face à toutes les qualités de ce logement que nous ne pouvons que recommander, surtout pour les familles avec de jeunes enfants.

Un endroit idéal pour réunir la famille de 0 à 86 ans .
