「Beautiful location with direct views to lake Como and mountains. Just a few yards from shore of the lake which has a pebbly beach. Great for swimming. Some good restaurants around and just across the road from the railway station. Amazing setting! The breakfast (Halal) is really good and sitting in the garden looking at the lake and mountains is bliss! Very helpful staff. It's one of the best 3* hotels we've stayed in.」

「We booked a room for 2, but an extra twin bed was already there, so we are given a room for 3. The room is classic, clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning (but only Reception can adjust the temperature ) The wooden floor squeaks when stepped on . During our stay the elevator was out of order for a few hours, but quickly fixed. Breakfast is decent. Overall very one here is very nice .」

「Overall, we enjoyed many aspects of our stay. The views are breathtaking, the grounds and pool are beautiful, the breakfast buffet and restaurant were excellent, and the air conditioning was a huge relief during the heatwave. While the property isn't modern, it has a lot of charm. Our biggest challenge was transportation. Although the hotel is described as being within walking distance of Menaggio, that's only realistic with very light luggage. Taxis were difficult to find during our stay, and...

「Great small hotel. Breakfast every morning overlooking the lake was wonderful. The primary staff who was there was Alice and she was helpful and friendly. A couple things to note is this is about a 15 minute walk into town and 20 minutes to the train. If you have a lot of luggage, consider a taxi, the staff will arrange a taxi, just do that ahead of time. Getting from town to town was easy via the ferry.
