We came in the off season (October)and it was a great value at that time. The staff were helpful and kind! We selected Garnbua and it had everything we needed for our stay. Parking was free. The only downside is the restaurant was closed for the off season.

Clean and comfort, staff were very helpful. Although there was no instant coffee available, the staff gave us some ground coffee so that we could drink some coffee in the room right after some long drive.

Enjoyed our stay at the Hemmingodden Lodge! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean, with beautiful views of the sea and mountains. Ballstad was a great location to explore Lofoten, the resort is in walking proximity to a grocery store as well!

Helt ok kök, blir lite varmt på sovloftet. Annars bra rensningsfaciliteter och ok restaurang. Ligger en Joker (matbutik) 5 min promenad från Hemminodden. Allt sköts digitalt vad angår incheckning etc.

They might want to let their clients know about the ladder to the bed. Elders need to get up at nite and this is difficult to navigate. Also there was a minimum selection of left over cups and plates, etc. the entryway to the apt. Had a bad smell. Restaurant on site was great!

There are two distinctly different sections to this property. We were booked into one of the older buildings. There are several newer buildings, and the friend we were travelling with was in one of those units. The unit he was in was very nice. These are the pictures are posted on the booking sites. The place we stayed in was terrible. Our unit was old, run-down, and in need of refurbishment. The floors are not level, the finishes are old and tired, and the bed is in a loft which requires crawling through a roughly 2x2 hole to get to it. My wife and I are in our 60s, very fit, but the loft is only suitable for kids. We opted for the small fold out couch was was extremely uncomfortable. We tried to make breakfast in the small kitchen, but the cooktop would shut down as soon as it heated up. This was also one of the most expensive places we booked on Lofoten. The only positive to the property is its location near the water. If you decide to stay here, make sure you book the newer section of the property!

Hemmingodden está en una ubicación privilegiada con unas vistas excelentes. El apartamento está limpio y es muy cómodo, y el personal también es muy amable. Muy recomendable, sobre todo para amantes de la naturaleza y pescadores.

Very much enjoyed staying here! It was in a good location for several hikes and it was so nice to unwind in the sauna after a long day of being active outside. There is no shampoo or soap provided in the shower, just something to be aware of!

Charming place

We had a lovely stay at this small, cosy flat. The place is clean and thoughtfully decorated, with a charming mix of old and new that makes it feel both homey and stylish. It had everything we needed for a comfortable night with the family. There’s even a place to charge an electric car, which was a big plus for us. The staff were very helpful and nice, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Later, we returned for a fishing trip.

These are charming cabins in a great spot! They are not accessible for those with mobility challenges but if you’re ok climbing a ladder to a loft it’s so fun! We were treated to northern lights visible from bed ! Communication with the front desk was slow and due to very limited hours this was a bit challenging but worked out ok with digital check in. The restaurant served yummy food, and the sauna is well worth it. There is a grocery store (joker) a few minutes walk away for essentials. Such a great spot to spend a few nights.

Comfortable beds, clean sheets,. towels and bathroom, well-equipped kitchen with dish-washer, spacious apartment with dining table, etc. Free parking close by. Missed a microwave. Could hear people in the upstairs apartment walking at night. Shower cabin a bit uncomfortable for tall people.

Accueil inexistant sans aucune information hormis le souhait d’être payé alors que nous restions 2 jours.je passe l’indifférence de l’équipe composée de 3 jeunes totalement indifférents à notre présence.Nous découvrons un logement non conforme au descriptif ( nous pensions avoir un lodge au lieu d’un appartement) ce dernier est accessible uniquement par un escalier abrupt. Le lit en mezzanine n’était accessible que par une échelle dangereuse. Le canapé déployé en lit était inconfortable puis nous remarquons que la bonde du lavabo était mêlée à une large pelote de cheveux et de poils.Enfin, le tarif était augmenté de 10 euros par rapport au prix initial. Nous sommes très déçus de ce lieu qui ne semble parfait qu’en photos. Heureusement que les îles Lofoten sont merveilleuses.
