The check-in was handled professionally, with everything explained in detail.We felt very comfortable during our stay at Casa Country. The house and outdoor area were exceptionally well-maintained and clean. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We received lots of great tips about the surrounding area. A particularly lovely gesture was the homemade cake for a birthday.During our stay, the access road was being renovated. It is now even easier to drive on.Casa Country is highly recommended. We had a wonderful time and would happily return anytime.

Roberto & Mariana we're excellent hosts. While the journey -to our arrival was quite difficult, we were happy to arrive to our cosy accommodation in the hills with verzanno ligure across the hillside- some amenities could be included is self catering was desired. Beautiful place in the middle of nature

We (four friends in their sixties) spent a wonderful week at Casa Country. The house is beautifully situated in the middle of nature. All you hear is the rustling of the trees and the Cigales around you. Only the road to the house is a challenge; especially for cars that are a bit low on the road. The house is very comfortable and clean. Everything is there; the beds are excellent and the air conditioning is wonderfully cooling (and quiet). We were there in August; it was hot and the beaches were quite busy. We sought cooling in the mountains (behind Fivizzano). Highly recommended: with beautiful small villages, lakes and waterfalls.

A very wonderfull place for your vacation

We had wonderful 14 days at Casa Country. The owners of the house live on the same property. They are extraordinary hospitable. They gave us many information about the region and surprised us from time to time with fresh products of their garden. If you want to have a very clean and wonderful house for your vacation, in the middle of beautyfull nature, you are absolutely right here. The road is, of course, a bit difficult, espacially for bigger cars, but the more you drive, it's getting more easy. And the lovelyness of the region and property really recompenses that. For sure we will come back.

Highly recommended!

This is a wonderfully comfortable and well-equipped home in a superb location. We’ll never forget the views across the valley to a terracotta-tiled town on the next hill -stunning. Roberto was a perfect host, being on hand without interfering - delivering us freshly laid eggs and giving local info when we wanted it. The road to get to Roberto’s is also memorable, as you drive into the forest on a very narrow, sometimes steep gravel road - however, we did it in a Fiat Panda every day and it became part of the attraction of the experience of staying in this beautiful place!

Country comfort with style

Casa country is lovely. Well finished and spotless. Roberto and Marina are excellent hosts with lots of helpful tips to make the most of your trip. The road is narrow and rough so make sure you don’t hire a big car but the destination is worth the effort. Perfect silence (apart from some local wildlife) so a very relaxing spot to while away a few days.

Home away from home

We stayed here for one week and everything was just perfect. It's such a quiet place and nature is beautiful. The house is very well equipped and has everything you need. We loved the 2 sweet cats of Roberto and Marina and spoiled them a lot. Will we come back? Yes we will and we can't wait for that.

Wonderful house and location

The location of this house is away in the countryside with a beauitiful view. It is a llittle hard to get there but you get a lot for it in return. The house has a unique view of a hillside village and is really nicely decorated. It feels like a home away from home. The owners live on the same property and are wonderful hosts. They tell you where to find all the spots to visit and places to eat. The maximum rating is five stars but it is is really five star plus.

Fabulous rural stay.

Really beautiful 2 bedroom house tastefully decorated in a country style with well maintained gardens. The bedrooms and bathrooms are generously proportioned. The property is well equipped with a very good BBQ. If you are looking for peace and quiet then this is the place for you. Well located for visiting cinq terre and the lovely town of Porto Venere. Well any village or town in the area is worth a visit! We found the roads quite easy to navigate but were pleased we had left our long wheel based Landrover behind as this may have been unsuitable for some of the switchbacks.

Wonderful Home & Hosts

Beautiful custom home built by the owner, in a peaceful country setting. Light, bright, modern and very clean, with two spacious bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The view of a neighboring hilltop village from the front porch is magical. We drove to La Spezia and took the train to the Cinque Terre villages two days with ease. Roberto and Marina are friendly and welcoming hosts. They live on the property and were very helpful with travel tips and made it us feel at home. A very pleasant experience and memorable stay. Pleasant and relaxing stay

We stayed in Robertos House for one week in the middle of April 2016. We stayed there 4 adults and two small kids and the size of the House was perfect to our familie. Roberto was very friendly in order to make our experience good. He managed to borrow an extra kids bed from one of his Friends. Before we arrived he was fast and helpful to reply On our questions. When we arrived he showed us around and helped us with further questions. casa country was very pleasant and relaxing with a lovely sight of the mountains. There is forrest and a agriturismo in walking distance from Casa Country and 10min drive to La Spezia. We have recommended the area, the season and Casa Country to all we know!!!! beautiful House in the Mountains

The house is in a beautiful and silent Location. It is lovely decorated and with a lot of heart and passion. The Hosts are very kind and cared about us. They gave us advice and information about the surroundings. In September there are a lot of mosquitos tho its not a Problem inside the House its hard outsides so bring a repellent Spray or something like that :D The way to the house is really adventurous. With the description of Roberto you arrive well. However, it is a largely unpaved very narrow road that is not easy to drive. With very large cars one does certainly difficult. After a few trips you get used to it more then it goes. In my Opinion thats the only downside. It was a awesome vacation, would do it again in the future :D Thanks to our lovely Hosts

Magnific house and view

We were very delighted to stay in this house for 6 days when we visited the Cinque Terre region in June. The house is located in the middle of pure nature were you can hear only the birds. The garden and the terrace are big and groomed and the view is spectacular. We enjoyed very much having the breakfast or dinner there. The house furnishings is done with very good taste and has summer charm. The walls are very high which offer and maintain the proper temperature in the room. Because of this we have not use the air conditioned in spite of the hot temperature outside. We preferred to sleep with open windows and hear the birds and that was possible because all windows are provided with mosquito nets. The kitchen has more than enough plates, cutleries. Each bedroom has its big toilet, which is very convenient, as you don’t have to cross the whole house or disturb the others. Each bed and pillows (more than enough) have different degrees of strength, which satisfy every weight and ensure a good sleep. The pillow are the appropriate one for the season. Roberto, Marina (the owners) and their daughter are very warm, nice and helpful persons. They are discrete and ready to help when you need them. Their advices were very helpful. Thank you again! Compared to other vacation houses, the owners of this one arrange it in order for you to really feel good, comfortable. Everything is very clean and done with very much attention to details. I could not find any single tinny thing I could complain about. I strongly recommend it and we will for sure come back soon. Thank you!

Das Ferienhaus ist wirklich sehr sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtet! Es liegt wunderbar in der Natur und die Umgebung ist malerisch.Die Eigentümer sind ganz liebe Menschen und außergewöhnlich gastfreundlich.Es war eine tolle Zeit!Die Anfahrt ist ein kleines Abenteuer aber auch mit unserem Mercedes Vito haben wir es gut hinbekommen (viel größer sollte das Auto aber nicht sein ).

Wir reisten nach einer Nacht wieder ab. Es gefiel uns leider gar nicht. Viele Plastikblumen, zu viele wilde Deko. Ein eigenartiger Geruch hängt im Haus. Erinnert an ein sehr schweres Parfum. Es ist wirklich abseits. Das hatte für uns eher Einsamkeit statt Freiheit, man konnte nicht mal schnell eine Runde joggen gehen oder mit dem Fahrrad eine Tour starten.
