Great place great area

The house was amazing with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and the location was very close to the new river Gorge and all its activities. Would definitely stay here again!

Great property, perfect for our girls trip!

Weekend hiking trip, the hosue was perfect for the six of us girls! We enjoyed time in the hot tub each night after hiking.

Family getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Fayetteville and Adventures on the gorge. Location is central to all activities and property was clean and decorated beautifully. We would definitely go again.

Excellent stay

House was in a great secluded location, however it was very close to activities. The home was very nice with everything needed for a smooth stay. I highly recommend this rental! We will try to book again on our next visit to the area.

We enjoyed our time spent at Camp McComas. It was so close to New River Gorge National Park which made for easy travel to the park and back. Enjoyed coming back to the house and relaxing in the hot tub and then by the fire after all the hiking we did in the park.

Excellent Base Camp for Adventure Weekend

Clean place. Nice size kitchen. Plenty of bathrooms for a large group. Several large outdoor seating areas. Plenty of parking. Nice location. Close to hiking and climbing. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect New Years Weekend

We chose this house for a holiday family reunion. Everyone was so comfortable just hanging out together, cooking, eating, and watching football. We lucked out with good weather and got to enjoy the many hiking trails and the hot tub. Everyone in the group wants me to book this house again!

The e house is very big and clean. Wonderful location in the woods, near a trail. It was very quiet. Large kitchen for cooking. Hot tub was a big plus. Thank you.

Secluded and pretty

The property was as advertised, very lovely and loved the walking trail. Everything was great at the property except for an issue with a chirping smoke alarm that kept recurring. The various decks were great with the warm weather we had and loved the fall foliage.

Most excellent property !!!

This is the 2nd year we have stayed at this home. Wonderful and efficient floor plan that is family friendly.... the kitchen is open to the family room all with a large nook table to fit 8-10 people. comfortable beds and nice finishes, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. nice to come home to this house (and hot tub) after a hard day paddling with Adventures on the Gorge :-).

Fall Trip

Great location. I-pad check in didn't work in house and contacted host and he just directed us to their website instead of looking into the issue. Other than that no other issues. We went after bridge day so several restaurants and attractions were closed for the season.

Awesome Property and Location

Great location, very comfortable and clean. Lot's of room in the open kitchen, dining and family area. 3 different outside porch areas, including a really nice screened in porch. Bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. Kitchen stocked with everything we needed. You couldn't get a better location - close to the National Park and activities. The subdivision had nice hiking trails and gathering areas. The town of Fayetteville was 10 minutes with great restaurant options. Recommend doing the Bridge Walk. Recommend Rosa's Speakeasy for fabulous drinks and atmosphere.Gaines Estate for a lovely dinner experience. Escape-a-torium (escape room), in Fayetteville was really fun on a rainy afternoon.

Disappointed

We stayed at this property a year and a half ago. It has deteriorated. The coffee maker was full of old grounds. Door shelving in the refrigerator was missing. The toilets in the bathrooms were dirty. They provided a single roll of toilet paper per bathroom. When we last stayed there we would have agree that the rating was exceptional. This stay, not so much.

Stellar place!

The pond behind the cabin is shared with everyone in the neighborhood. It's accessed by general trails that run behind the cabins -- and which are also great for running! When we were there, it was jam-packed with singing frogs, plus a few bass and super-healthy sunfish which we then caught. We never saw another soul on those trails or at the the pond, though we were there in the May shoulder season.
