We would give this inn six stars if we could! Cathy was fabulous: giving us the history of the inn and making our stay so comfortable, even giving us Dubai chocolate when she heard it was our anniversary. This inn is ideally located for walking to everything and the two-course gourmet breakfast gets you on your way with a full stomach and a smile on your face. Do not pass up this lovely and unique place to stay in a wonderful city!

Charming stay at the Beaconsfield! The whole place was so cozy and the staff was wonderful. We had a room on the main floor, but had no noise problems and slept great. Breakfast in their beautiful breakfast room was a highlight of the stay.

Absolutely incredible experience. All of the staff are so kind and helpful, we felt very pampered the entire time. the breakfasts are delicious and beautifully served, and the home itself is stunning and well maintained. Cathy is very knowledgeable in everything about the estate and surrounding area and was very easy to reach for anything we needed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique stay on the island.

All of the above and Kathy was such a wonderful host. What "A Grand Old Lady" the hotel is. Such a delight to stay in. The breakfast was so good and the library was a special place. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean.

The Beaconsfield Inn was truly a beautiful place to stay, with a large library full of old books, the breakfast rooms were beautiful and the food thoughtfully prepared. Cathy was very caring and attentive, and even gave me a room upgrade! Will definitely stay again!

A wonderfully charming historic inn, conveniently located a few blocks from the park, just down the road from bustling Cook st, and a short walk to downtown. Cathy and the staff are so lovely, they care a lot about their guests and the property. Breakfast was DIVINE! My room's bathroom was modern and updated (a positive!), otherwise they've maintained a lot of the authenticity.

Wonderful Historic Inn, Excellence in Hospitality

The hospitality was amazing. We were welcomed later in the evening for check in and offered wine, tea, and treats in the library. This inn and our room is decorated with all kinds of antiques. If we are back in Victoria again, we will be sure to stay here.
