The property was outdated and the room wasn't clean. Overall i'd give this motel a 2 star but again it is a motel so lower your expectations. The man at check in was very nice and friendly making it a pleasnt check in experience. The area is probably better in peak season, I was told to be mindful of my car and belongings and to beware or certain areas due to lots of homeless and drug addicts, that made me very uneasy. I only stayed for 1 night and thats all I would recommend especially if you're travelling alone. Might be a better option for peak summer months when there are lots of tourists and other people around.
The service was very bad. Actually there was almost no device or help available at all. Receptionist at check in was incredibly rude, no help with bags, no room service or wifi (is there any hotel that doesn’t have wifi now?!). I expected waaaaaay more for the price I paid.
Nice staff. Centrally located with clean rooms. The shower temperature was not well regulated (from scalding to cold) at 6 am.
The walls were paper thin! Our neighbour was chatting in a moderate tone until 2 am, and we could hear their entire conversation (while trying to sleep).
Not sure I will stay again if I have a work engagement in the morning.
This hotel is walking distance to downtown, there is free parking across the street, good bed, the heater is hard to control , with a set point of 70 the room still over heated to what felt like 80 and it did run most of the night until I turned it of. Overall good for the price , but there were numerous large dogs in the hallways, so if you have allergies I would not stay here.
I really liked this hotel. I had a car and they had free parking across the street in a small parking lot which was a huge bonus. I’ve stayed closer to downtown before and paid a lot for parking. The room was clean and spacious. When I had a problem with the phone not working the fixed it straight away. The staff very friendly. The bar was super friendly and the lady who worked there plus the locals who also visit made me very welcome as I was traveling alone. The menu in the restaurant for breakfast was great and again the staff were super helpful and friendly. I would stay here if I were to visit Victoria again.
Was in cor a surgwry from out of town and needed a room that was easily accessible. It was a great room but my family and I wanted a tub as opposed to a wheelchair shower (which was lovely to be sure). Was however moved to a room that had a dirty, very yellow tub in it. There was very poor access to outlets, and when I moved the bedside table a little to get to one, there was a used tampon applicator and other disgusting items there. Worse was that it was so far from the elevator or exit that O could.not get out. I got faint and had to be assisted back. There was no wheelchair or even a luggage trolly so had to be pulled back on trash bags. Luckily they were at least clean. This led to having to stay another night as I could not .ake it out the door. I loved my previous stays but don't see myself doing it again, though some of your staff are very good.
