Fantastic place

Just very comfortable and distinct look, centrally located, everything was two thumbs up! The Ruby restaurant on site is so goid, we ate there every day and were thrilled with each meal.

Been here a few times over the years. I think this was the nicest room - in terms of overall theme and layout. Breakfast at the restaurant was great. Didn’t like paying extra for the same room just because it was a weekend night.

We loved the 70’s vibes atmosphere of the place. Everyone was helpful with suggestions of places to eat and see. Ruby was a restaurant in the office area and the food there was the best we’ve had for breakfast. The waffles are to die for. Make sure to get the whipped cream. It was quiet at night and we felt safe. They have bikes that you can use for biking downtown. Rooms were clean and we had a mini fridge and a microwave. We highly recommend Hotel Zed as a great place to stay

What an awesome hotel! It was a refreshing break from the generic white and grey that makes every hotel feel exactly the same. I loved the colours and the funky vibe of the place. On top of that, the room was beautiful and clean, and the staff was awesome. Great place to stay!

Really like the vibe and mission statement for the Hotel Zed chain -- very upbeat, friendly and welcoming to all. Every day we were able to get little jars of ground coffee and cream for the French press in our room. Room had a compact kitchenette with everything. Only down side was our room was right above the pool and adjacent to the water slide, which got heavy use. Fortunately the staff shut it down at 10 PM and it was instantly much quieter.

This is a fun and funky place to stay. This is my second visit and no complaints. It is easy to get downtown via bus if not driving. Internet worked well, everything seemed clean, and the staff are friendly. Didn’t use the pool, but looked like fun. The only thing I could not figure out was how to work the TV, but I have this problem at every hotel/motel I go to.
