Very beautiful and in a perfect spot! Lots of little stands nearby and the lake parking lot is a three minute drive. It could have been cleaner inside the place, had to body a spider once or twice and found some webs but overall very nice stay!!

Uncomfortable stay

The location was a little out of the way but was easy enough to find. We were greeted by the host which I thought was strange for a VRBO. They were staying in a small cabin on site which it made it feel like we were being watched. This turned out to be true when we left the property prior to checkout. We received a message that we had forgotten something two hours before our checkout time. The host had seen us leave, assumed we weren't coming back, and started cleaning.

Quaint and quiet with a very cozy comforatably bed! One room was unusable. Thought a couch or comfortable chairs in there would make better use of the space. Very small coffee pot and towels were scarce and not great quality. Bit of a strange smell but overall a good stay in a quiet area.

Serene retreat in the country

Minutes away from the city, but a treasure of a place in the peace of West Saanich. Beautifully decorated with gorgeous art pieces. Two comfortable bedrooms, bath and kitchen, immaculately clean. Sweet host and a warm welcome. Close to airport, ferry, Sidney, Buchart Gardens and Brentwood Bay. Highly recommend this property.

Stay at Misty Haven

Our host Ian greeted us and went over the property. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. Lots of appliances so you can make meals. There was an outdoor seating area where I read and relaxed. You could eat outdoors. Perfect spot for our dog. Near hiking and close to Victoria. Would stay there again. Only thing I would wish for in worse weather would be a couch for reading

Great Rural Location

My family and I just recently visited Victoria for the first time and wanted to stay a bit removed from the city, but still be close to everything. This location was prefect. It was very quiet while still very close to things like Butchart Gardens and only about a 20 minute drive to downtown Victoria. Host communication was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Fortunately when we arrived Lee was about. She was told to expect us the next day and she knew the door code. Otherwise would have had to sleep in the dog’s house. Absence of TV was unexpected.

Lovely peaceful location

The location is ideal for day trips to Victoria and surrounding area. We highly recommend this location. Note that is a suite attached to the main house Has lovely garden area with patio set and is a great place to relax. We really enjoyed the peace and quite of the location The home is decorated beautifully but some of the furniture was not that comfortable. (Note I traveled with my elderly mom) Beds were extremely comfortable ! Shower was awesome Hosts were very kind and helpful. Check in with us a couple of times to make sure everything was good( ie towels)

Disappointed

This was a horrible situation. First up when I booked the property back in June I copied all of the photos of the place, however, when we got there, what I booked and what I received were TWO different things. There was no stove, all that was there was an induction cooktop and the pots and pans did not go with the induction cooktop. There were two of us and we were given 2 bath towels and one hand towel and NO wash cloth. There was a dirty wash cloth in the shower. There were no washer and dryer either. The paper towels had 5 remaining pieces of paper. The house was DARK no natural light in the place. The property manager communication skills left much to be desired. Vrbo was no help either. I was on the phone with them for over an hour with NO results. Finally I took matters in my own hands and found a different place to stay on Expedia. I was so disappointed with this place and would never recommend anyone staying there.

Great beds for sleeping in a beautiful spot!

Very nice and quiet place to stay near Buschart Gardens and some beautiful lakes. Enjoyed the Eastern decor. We stayed many places as we traversed BC. This place had the most comfortable beds of all!
