RiverSong - Charming McKenzie Riverside Guest House

This riverside guest house offers privacy, comfort, the beauty of the changing seasons and proximity to many McKenzie River attractions. It is a lovely haven for a personal retreat, romantic weekend, getaway with friends or can serve as a beautiful rural home base while exploring wilderness areas or adventures in Eugene/Springfield to the west and Sisters or Central Oregon to the east. Settle in, relax, refresh and be inspired by the river, a symbol of the great flow of Life itself.

This 675 sq ft studio guest house was rebuilt in 2025 next to my home on the McKenzie River in Vida. Come enjoy the natural beauty of its riverside setting, a complete kitchen, bathroom with a tub/shower combination and a washer/dryer. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, plates, glasses, silverware, coffee maker, griddle, hot plate, and other small appliances for cooking. There is a king sized bed with powered ergonomic base in the sleeping area, a chaise lounge sofa, cots and a queen size electric air mattress in the living area. Wifi provided so you can stay connected as necessary and work remotely.

Stretch out on the patio or sit on the stationary or gravity chair right on the water. Be aware that the McKenzie is a cold, fast moving river - not for swimming.

The guest house includes a private patio just outside the sliding glass door in the living area with a firepit. There is a path down to the river.

There is a shade as well as sunny areas on the front part of the property. Guests are welcome to sit at the table and chairs provided in this area.

Being mindful of individuals with allergies and other sensitivities:

All sheets and pillow cases are hypoallergenic white cotton, free of dye, scents, or softeners. Cleaning products including laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, general cleaning products, hand soap, shampoo, body wash, and conditioner are dye and fragrance free. EO Shower products contain essential oil.
