Highly recommend for your Vienna visit!
I stayed here for 2 weeks to visit the city and had a wonderful time. The host responded quickly to questions and was very welcoming. Check-in was very fast and covered all the apartment amenities. This is a safe and quiet residential location right next to the Augarten park. The property description accurately describes the apartment and all the amenities. Overall, it is a quiet and safe location—very spacious for a couple or solo traveler. The apartment has helpful info on getting around and excellent tourist guides for Vienna and surrounding areas. As noted on other reviews and the site, it is located on the 3rd floor (keeping in mind this is a historical building).
The steps are short in height and there is a handrail on all stair flights, so it shouldn’t be a problem unless there are mobility issues. Two options for bus transit very close to the apartment make it a convenient location to travel/transfer to most major sightseeing locations. 4-5 minutes walk to Wallenstrein Platz and 2 minutes to Karl-Meißel Straße stop around the corner next to Augarten. There is a Billa (small grocery store) about 2 blocks away. Quick tip—these and most other stores close on Sunday, so plan accordingly if that is your arrival day. Bakeries, sightseeing attractions, and some restaurants are open on Sundays. There are lots of options for cafes, restaurants, and shopping—some on the same street, but more around Wallenstein platz. Would recommend it to other visitors!
