This was a great little ocean front place. The room was clean and comfortable and the restaurant was great. Excellent location with in walking distance to several restaurants and to a beach. We were able to walk right to our Bio Bay tour guide shop as well. They had a nice spot for me to park our rented side x side. We are planning a trip back to Vieques next year and we will defiantly stay here again.

We loved our room at Trade Winds - cute and comfortable and right on the waterfront of the main street through Esperanza. Coffee, water and muffins were a kind touch and dinner with a view at the on site restaurant was excellent. Short walk to our bio-bay tour meeting point.

A nice place to stay close to everything, balcony rooms are not the ones in the front of the hotel facing the ocean. I assumed that was my view, we did have a small ocean view from a side balcony. My overall experience was good . I would recommend this place, old school oceanfront vibe, bartenders are great!

The location was good; and that’s it. We paid extra for air conditioner; however, it started to malfunction in the middle of the night. The bed and pillows have a funny smell. Shower curtains have mold. Unfriendly stuff.

Dont go by seemingly good rating and reviews if you plan to stay as good ratings are for restaurant and not for stay; especially if you get a lower level room. If no other option, then at least while booking make sure to contact property to confirm so you dont get lower level rooms as they are filled with huge amount of mosquitoes. We left the property in less than an hour as the room was filled with mosquitoes and we didnt leave any door open; poor wifi signal and no water. Water shortage is understandable however we didnt get any bucket of water to toilet use either ( it had been 2 hours since we received email that water will be provided).

So got to the hotel and couldn't check in for over 3 hours I received multiple emails and none of them had the actual instructions of check-in after trying to reach the property and no success I reached out to Expedia customer service and they also couldn't get a hold of the property manager and once again after over an hour of being on the phone with Expedia customer service agent they were finally able to get in contact with property manager and they sent check in instructions so we get into the room and there is no air conditioning it was infested with mosquitoes and also dead mosquitoes with blood they had one ceiling fan and one portable fan they barely worked in the bathroom they had used soap it was just a horrible experience no staff in sight to communicate with will not recommend
