Great stay at Laguna resort, which is a quiet and relaxing retreat on the outskirts of Vilamoura. Taxi to the marina is around €6, excluding tip. You could walk although it’s about 30mins in the heat. Limited dining options on the resort but plenty within a short taxi ride. Villa cleaned 6 days (Sunday off), downside was the hot tub is not operational and top level unusable, also patio area could have been cleaner. Food from the cafe was okay, though priced at a premium compared to other similar cafes even at the Marina. Staff were helpful and friendly. Definitely would return.

Outstanding!

It was absolutely fantastic, bright, spacious and beautiful. The staff are also outstanding. Big shout out to the gentleman thy made us an early breakfast as we departed early in the morning. Can’t wait to go back.

Had superior 1 bed apartment that was very spacious. 25 minute walk to Marina where you could probably eat in different restaurant every night for a month. accommodation just far enough away to be a nice walk there and back but Uber super cheap also

Amazing stay due to the friendly staff as well as great property - breakfast was superb with staff going out of their way to ensure you had everything you wanted and to your liking - we stayed 3rd to 7th May and had perfect weather- due to an early pick up on the last day we were packed off with a breakfast box which we took to the airport! We will definitely be returning

The staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us. Rooms were spacious and the view over the golf course lovely. We were checking out early and the team gave us packed lunch for the day as we wouldn’t make breakfast.

Disappointed

Booked a "golf view" room which we'd had on a previous stay to be able to watch the sunset and enjoy the late afternoon sun on the balcony. Not only did we not get that or similar room the balcony off the living room of the apartment we did have was not where we could see out from the sofa (just a window view of apartment block opposite and the sky) and the other was off the bedroom and got very little sun because of the apartment overhang above making over half the balcony in shade. Shan't book here in future as no guarantee I would'nt be disappointed again. I did communicate with the hotel whilst there about my experience but they said they had no other rooms available.

Nice, big place. The furniture requires soft legs for having no sound when moved. Also sound isolation between rooms is essential.

We did not stay in the hotel as it was not fully open and was predominantly a building site, with only a few of the facilities advertised. However, the management staff were exceptionally helpful in finding a suitable accommodation on arrival, will be very good when it opens and they decide what facilities they will have.
