"GC14 is ‘basic’ in some ways and has minimal facilities (although rooms have the essentials) but it’s in a great location for exploring Palermo on foot or by bus and making day-trips elsewhere in Sicily. The very best thing about it is the young, friendly and efficient staff! They couldn’t be nicer or more helpful and they made us feel warmly welcome."

"We arrived late evening due to a 1hr delayed flight, and were shown in by the delightful Laura, and her partner who very kindly carried up our suitcase. Many thanks to both of them, as Guiseppe was out of town. We woke to the most amazing, spectacular view of the harbour and village, and the location was wonderful, with lots of restaurants, food shops, and a fabulous ice-cream parlour nearby. "L’hôtel à accepter que nous arrivions tard compte tenu de notre heure d’arrivée à l’aéroport. Cependant, aucune indication quand à l’arrivée sans réceptionniste, nous avons patientez dehors sans réponse au téléphone ni à l’interphone, puis quelqu’un a fini par nous ouvrir sans explication et nous avons de nouveau patientez jusqu’à comprendre que nous devions nous même entrez derrière le comptoir de la réception et prendre nos clés de chambre.
