Beautiful accomodation

Very good accom right on the slopes for a week's skiing. Had everything we needed and had enough space for 18 people.

Wonderful stay!

16 of us (3 families) had a great week. The chalet is beautifully decorated and well equipped. The steps were not an issue for us as you only use them on arrival and when you leave, you can access the slopes and village from the right outside the chalet door. The views are stunning and the village is very pretty with a couple of very nice restaurants. The local shop had everything you would need. The access to the main slopes of Alpe d'Huez was very easy from the chalet, its also worth knowing that the Villarais chairlift can also bring you down. Would highly recommend.

Superb accommodation, great skiing location

Apartment very comfortable, well equipped and accommodating. The sauna was well used! Bottom apartment of a block built on the side of the hill so access with luggage, shopping, recycling is down (and up) several flights of stairs.

Fabulous stay with friends

We have just returned from a week stay at chalet La Horde in the village of Villard Reculas. For a group of 18, the chalet was fabulous! Split over 4 floors, there was plenty of space for everyone. We were welcomed by Serge our host who was very helpful in showing us down to the chalet. I should note that chalet La Horde is at the bottom of several flights of stairs. This is not an issue for the able bodied but should really be noted on the property description for consideration. There is alternative access lower down but earlier in the winter season this would be snow covered. We did have 1 issue where we requested non feather bedding and Serge did try to sort this out for us. Sadly there was not an alternative available and so we did make our own substitution. I should note that all bedding in the property was feather, which in many ways is a beautiful addition, but not if you have allergies. The chalet was fully equipped with everything we needed for the week and we made use of all its facilities including cooking meals every evening, the sauna and washing facilities. We had 8 children in our group and there was plenty of space for them to enjoy playing and a game of table football. We worked out quickly an easier route to the slopes was to leave the chalet at the lower level and to drive along to the venicular lift that took you to the bottom of the Le Villarais chairlift. From there we could ride up to the ski area and there was a blue run down.

Un très beau séjour familial

Nous avons séjourné au chalet durant une semaine et nous avons passé un très agréable moment. Le chalet est très bien situé, au pied des pistes et parfait pour faire de belles randonnées. Il est très agréable, très beau et bien aménagé. Les propriétaires ont pensé à tout. La vue sur les montagnes est sublime. La chalet de part ses 4 niveaux est parfait lorsque nous sommes en groupe car il permet À chacun de garder son espace et de se grouper dans un très bel espace commun. Ce qu il faut savoir c est que l accès au chalet se trouve au niveau -4 ce qui est bon à savoir quand on arrive avec les valises ou les courses.

Zeer mooie chalet op een goeie locatie. Alles is aanwezig om er een leuke vakantie van te maken. Vanop een zonnig terras kan mijn genieten van een top uitzicht.

Pracht huis voor getrainde kuiten

Super huis. Beetje pech met het weer (te warm voor ski in en -uit). Daardoor veel trappen lopen. Was er maar een lift geweest ! Verder een mooie week gehad met kinderen en kleinkinderen.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en famille. Le chalet est super, avec beaucoup de charme, très bien équipé, une vue magnifique qui nous a permis de passé un merveilleux séjour. Le chalet est très bien localisé avec un accès direct aux pistes.

Vacances face aux montagnes

Super séjour à Villars Reculas dans un magnifique chalet. Nous étions un groupe de 18 personnes ou nous avons pu vivre d’inoubliables souvenirs pendant une semaine sans être les uns sur les autres vu la taille du chalet, se faire des supers repas car une cuisine hyper équipée. Des jeux de société pour les soirées et avec les enfants, le sauna pour se détendre après nos randonnées, une vue sublime du salon cathédrale bref tout y était !!
